The article intends the following to be a recommendation, but it tells the discerning reader all they need to know about where the spirituality of Marianne Williamson originates.

Fittingly, Marianne Williamson is running for Congress from California’s 33rd District.

Even if the Navy “mistakenly” sent such an email, the Huffington Post–a card-carrying, member-in-good-standing of the Corporate Media–would never publish such a “mistake” unless they had approval to do so.
One suspects this is one of those stories the media runs periodically to make readers believe that the Corporate Media is somehow an independent agency not working arm-in-arm with the government and military. Who can argue with the practice? It works.

As constituted today, there can be no such animal as a Christian media empire. There are plenty of media empires which wear Christian masks, however.

How long do you suppose the War on Terror will be fought? So, as long as there is a war going on, the government essentially has the right to commandeer homes now. And, remember all of the many, many laws that were rushed into being in the days after September 11? Do you remember giving the federal government the power to declare the entire world–including America–as the battlefield in the War on Terror? You don’t? Oh. Well, here’s a little reminder from the Pentagon and a U.S. president who is not named Bush:

This email has been floating around the Internet for the last 13 years–or, right after September 11, 2001.
The good news is: “Yesterday the brass at ABC News” DID NOT “issue orders forbidding reporters to wear” American flag lapel pins.
The bad news is: Reporters at ABC News–and almost every other Corporate Media enterprise–have been discouraged from wearing American flag pins since long before September 11, 2001. A few have done so anyway. It doesn’t mean anything (to the talking heads) either way. They’ll do whatever they’re told–and do it enthusiastically. That’s why they’re employed by the Corporate Media.
It didn’t start with Obama. It won’t end when Obama’s gone. The Corporate Media has no allegiance to the USA–quite the opposite. If that’s not apparent to any media watcher by now, you’re not paying very close attention.
