End Times Prophecy Report
February 28, 2014
NOTE: We have made it to the last day of the second month of 2014–in spite of numerous extreme weather, potholes and a polar vortex or two.
VENEZUELA: What’s behind the violence in Venezuela
UKRAINE: Can Ukraine avoid partition? – Two Ukraines? Whatever…
Federal Court: Schools can ban students from wearing American flag T-shirts to prevent violence – Never address the underlying causes to the violence, just ban the shirt. This runs completely contrary to the court’s arguments when flag burning was discussed once upon a time…
Judge strikes down Texas gay marriage ban – That’s what judges are for in these last days.
How They Killed ‘Mandela’ – The Corporate Media uses articles such as this as bricks in the wall of another legend.
EXPERTS: Dyslexia may not exist – Conditions, supposed cures and the drugs supposedly used to treat said conditions change so rapidly, it’s a wonder Americans pay much attention to the medical field. But the medical and pharmaceutical professions have spent decades achieving the trust of Americans.
For such times as these.
Our American Babylon – Interesting article published in 2005. The author, Richard John Neuhaus–who is now deceased–was a conservative Catholic priest who frequently wrote for the conservative journal, National Review, which is where this writer first became familiar with him.
However, this essay’s number one error is the constant referral to worldly sources as if they contained the same degree of truth as Scripture.
“Surveying what he views as the corruptions of historic Christianity with its doctrines, rituals, and traditions of authority, Emerson declares, “The remedy to their deformity is, first, soul, and second, soul, and evermore, soul.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson was a Transcendentalist not a Christian. Emerson believed in the goodness of man. He also believed that religion, i.e., Christianity, was a corrupting influence on the purity of man. Emerson also exhorted Harvard students to “dare to love God without mediator or veil.”
This was a clear invitation to believers–who are to love our Savior who sits at the right hand of God constantly interceding–to forgo Jesus and strike out on one’s own.
Why would one feature Emerson so prominently?
Yet, Neuhaus refers to Emerson as if that closeted forerunner to today’s more-public Luciferians could shed some light on Christianity.
Neuhaus, during his last 20 years, provided the ecumenical framework for Evangelicals to yoke with Roman Catholicism in the culture wars. In 1994, Neuhaus became one of the founders of Evangelicals and Catholics Together.
Still, the piece is interesting as a snapshot of what the media promoted as thoughtful Christianity in 2005. What the media is promoting 8 1/2 years later is much more virulent–but today’s deception still travels largely under the radar.
Just as surely as Neuhaus–by most accounts, a decent human being–did during the last 20 years of his life.
“The airwaves and forums are full of those who are prophesying many things. These are the last days, foretold by the prophets of old. We are living in the days when the world is enveloped in gross spiritual darkness. The deceptions are as varied as the people being deceived. All contain mixture. Partial truth, mixed with error. It is so advanced at this point in time, that the reasoning mind cannot examine and separate the two, one from another. We cannot go by appearances, but are totally dependent upon the Holy Spirit to give witness. This process of deceiving began in the Garden of Eden. It was operational during Christ’s earthly ministry. And in this, the last generation, it has reached its apex of power.”
Soon, the mystery of iniquity will reach its pinnacle, aided by the ubiquitous deception. Christians have been forewarned by Jesus and his disciples. But how many are listening?
Survey: Americans would give up TV before Internet – Who wouldn’t? If only a way could be found to give up the Internet while retaining email.
It would mean changes, but it would be an important method of cutting ties with the world.
66 percent oppose a Religious Freedom law like Arizona’s – “Religious Freedom.” That’s a good one…
(VIDEO) Best 7-minute video on gun control – (h/t:B) This type of video is cheered by those who are pro-gun; ignored and disbelieved by those who are pro-gun control. While entertaining, it changes no ones mind. If statistics, logic and facts determined someone’s stance on guns, there would be no gun control in the first place.
The 15 Richest Cartoon Voice actors – Number 15 is worth $20 million. Number 1: worth $5 billion. Why so much? Because when one watches cartoons, it is for entertainment and relaxation, so one turns off critical thinking. This is the ideal time for propaganda to be poured into the viewer’s head.
QUESTION: Which would one rather face: a polar vortex or a polar bear?
