World War 3?

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?

Revolution, protests and uprisings in Ukraine, the Ukrainian president flees to Russia, Russian troops (or Russian-backed Ukrainians, depending upon who one believes) are in the Crimea, Obama is warning Russia, Russia is warning Ukraine: what does all of this chaos mean?

Is this how World War 3 starts?

What does the Bible have to say about the Ukraine?

What does the Bible have to say about World War 3?

Here’s a quick question and answer session with the staff at End Times Prophecy Report on the Ukraine, World War 3 and what the Bible says.

QUESTION: Why is everyone fighting over the Ukraine?

Answer: The Ukraine used to be part of the U.S.S.R. or Soviet Union–which is what Russia used to be called before it became Russia by jettisoning most of the parts that didn’t contain many actual Russians.  The Russians, being right next-door to Ukraine, keep a very close eye on the country and its affairs.

Ukraine is not part of NATO, the western military alliance headed by the USA.  However, Ukraine has stated that it wants to “integrate” with western Europe.  This has set up tensions between those Ukrainians who look west–toward the western democracies and the USA–and those Ukrainians who look east to Russia.

At least that’s what the Corporate Media has been telling us.

20 Questions about Ukraine and its turmoil

QUESTION: Is this how World War 3 starts?

Answers: While it’s possible, it’s unlikely. According to what those who have labored for a New World Order have said, the Third World War will start in the Middle East and spread from there.  However, the ones who have worked for the New World Order are notoriously deceptive.  So can we believe them?  Probably not.

QUESTION: What does the Bible say about all of this?

Answer: The Bible talks of a great war at the end of this present age.  This war will kill many people and there will be great bloodshed.

“And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”
Revelation 6:4

During all of the numerous end times wars, judgments and disasters, the Bible says that eventually one-half of the earth’s population will die.

The Bible does not say where this great war will start.  (It does say where it will end: at the battle of Armageddon, in the valley of Jezreel at  Megiddo, outside of the city of Jerusalem. )

However, the Bible does guarantee that whatever takes place, Jesus will not forsake nor abandon those who believe on His name.

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
Deuteronomy 31:6

“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5 (ESB)

QUESTION: Are the events in the Ukraine the beginning of the events Revelation 6:4 is referring to?

Answer: Could be.  But, Jesus spoke of what would happen leading up to the great cataclysms which would take place immediately before He returned.

“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
Matthew 24:5-6

“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. “
Mark 13:6-8

” And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”
Luke 21:8-11

The false Christs, the wars and rumors of war, as well as the earthquakes in divers (many) places have been already taking place. Jesus referred to this time as “birth pangs” or “the beginning of sorrows.” It is a time of warning right before end time events of disaster and judgment begin happening.  It is a time for people to get right with God.

The Corporate Media has spent the last six or seven years hyping tensions in one hot spot after another. Ukraine–like North Korea, Syria, Israel and Iran and China and Japan before it–appears to be a media-created  “rumor of war.”

But at some point, the Bible is clear: the hype stops and the shooting starts.  And then things begin to happen quickly.

WORLD WAR 3: Survival under an Atomic Attack?
WORLD WAR 3: Survival under an Atomic Attack? Don’t believe everything you read…

QUESTION: Does “rumors of war” mean that Ukraine will not have war?

No.  Any time armies are invading and chaos breaks out, there is a danger of war –especially in the times in which we live.

But regardless of what does or does not happen in Ukraine, dark times are coming.  Regardless of the claims the media, the government or anyone else makes about “prepping,” the Bible says that no amount of physical preparation will enable someone to survive what’s coming upon the earth.

This will not stop men from using their own strength and ingenuity to attempt to prepare for what’s coming.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
Revelation 6:15-17

2000 years ago, the Bible foretold that in the last days, men would be building underground bunkers and “dens in mountains” in an attempt to escape what was to come upon the earth.  It also foretold that those types of preparations would be utterly useless.

QUESTION: If physical preparation will not save anyone, what can one do?

Crying out to the Lord will save you.

Once saved, a believer will have the peace which passeth all understanding.  Do you have peace of mind?  You can.

Regardless of what happens around them, true believers have peace of mind about the future.

There is always a spike in interest in what the Bible says when chaos threatens to overtake the best laid plans of mice and men.  When the future appears uncertain, it is easier for men to throw themselves on the mercy of God.

Don’t wait.  Don’t delay.

It’s later than you think.

    1. This is more like a West propaganda. NATO wants to surround Russia and destroy it – just like it did to many other nations. That’s the reason West is fighting hard for Ukraine

  1. The Bible states the Messiah and his bride will come heralding the end of an era and bringing in the new. The Messiah and bride restore the fall of man committed by the archangel, Eve, and Adam. This has already happened and God’s elect have defeated communism and thus ended the third world war with the collapse of communism. Why communism? Because this is the fallen world of materialism in contradistinction to the spiritual life promised to all by God. It is a step to reclaiming the world from materialism and the appalling cultural malaise of the West.

    1. Derek,

Thank you for taking the time to stop and leave a comment.

“The Bible states the Messiah and his bride will come heralding the end of an era and bringing in the new.”

      Chapter and verse, please?

The current Bridal paradigm is being used to herd pew-sitters into the whore of Babylon Church which rises before Jesus comes back. This church is being promoted as “praying down the judgments of God” on the antichrist.

The Bible is completely silent on such an event.

However, due to an appalling lack of Bible knowledge, the Bridal paradigm will deceive many–just as Jesus warned.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

    2. This is untrue! Russia is not materialistic but they are war mongers and killers! They know that they can’t compete with western ideals and principles and are lashing out in rage and utter confusion!

      1. Slick,

Russia is not materialistic but they are war mongers and killers!

Surely you have some proof for thinking that “Russia is not materialistic?”

Because the proof of it being otherwise is provided every day.

“They know that they can’t compete with western ideals and principles and are lashing out in rage and utter confusion!”

Some would argue “Western ideals” is a contradiction in terms.

Some Russians are in a rage; others are utterly confused–as are their counterparts in the West.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to air your opinions.

  2. ARMAGEDDON 2017 ?

GOD’S judgment on “that day” is pictured in Isaiah Chapters 13 to 24 .
Isaiah colorfully narrates the fall of Nations and of the World in General. The phrase “that day” characterizes a time when GOD will judge HIS enemies; with judgment directed against both the enemies of GOD’s holy people, “the nations” and “Israel” herself, or at least the enemies of GOD in her midst.

The function of the references to the “day of vengeance” is thus, both to warn the ungodly and to assure the faithful of the certainty and nearness of their deliverance.

    The fall of Babylon

Revelation 17:9-13 depicts the wicked merchant city – “mystery Babylon” – practicing her trade with the 7 “Kings” during the last 70 years of ‘world kingdom’. In the records of Scripture large marts of commerce are often compared to harlots seeking many lovers, that is, they court merchants of all nations, and take in any one for the sake of gain (Na 3:4; Re 18:3). The 8th “Head-King” of the world empire system will receive the power and authority of his 10 “horn-kings”; and by GOD’s ordination, these “lovers” will devastate the “great city” and plunder her wealth.
(These will also battle against the Lamb Yahshua Messiah at the great day of El Shaddai at the place called Armageddon (“hill city of declaring a message” or “showing forth of his precious fruit”). And then they will go off into destruction.)

Out of the chaos and confusion following the fall of Babylon, Antichrist (666) will manifest himself with an intensity of iniquity greater than ever before.

A assembly of confederated nations united with the 8th head is the new superpower, » another “Babylon” (the meaning of Babylon is confusion) « will be the centre of prefigured prosperity and security and the centre of infidelity, “socialism-communism”, and false spiritualism. The head with the spirit of Antichrist is the summing up and concentration of the entire world evil that pre-ceded. It is the eighth head, but yet one of the seven (Rev 17:11).

YHVH’s people have victory over the beast, over his image, his mark and the number of his name (Rev 15:2) by choosing to drink of the LORD’s cup and to be baptized with the baptism HE was baptized with (Matt 20:22-23, Mark 8:31).

The abyss beast in Revelation Chapter 13 is understood to refer also to the Antichrist, the man of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; Daniel 9:27). During the last days before Messiah’s return, the evil world system will be controlled by the personified Antichrist. A visible Antichrist will stand at the head of the world kingdom disguised as a minister of light.
