Electricity prices are beginning to “necessarily skyrocket”–as Obama put it before the 2008 election.
Gasoline set to hit record high prices – An interjection for all those readers who are feeling buffeted right now by the “winds of fate.” Actually, the Fed has been cranking out those little green slips of paper called dollars for at least five years. Cranking them out 24/7, as many as they print. Four years ago, this writer was saying ‘Hey, not only inflation, but hyper-inflation is in the cards!”
“Oh no, you are so wrong! It’s DEflation the USA has to worry about.”
The refrain from this corner over the last two-three years has been: We get no satisfaction in being right. None at all.
Of course, it didn’t take a genius to figure out that the 24/7 printing of dollars would make them all worth a lot less eventually.
