Today’s piece will be short, as this writer has “promises to keep and miles to go before [he] sleep[s].”
DUBAI: 35 Things you see in Dubai every day – Interesting group of pictures (35 to be exact). Dubai is one of the ultimate representations of this present world. It is one of the wealthiest places per capita on earth. Dubai is also one of the most expensive places on the planet. It is a place of conspicuous consumption. One suspects that it would be even more decadent than Sin City (Las Vegas) itself if not for the fact that it is a Muslim country. Of course, just as in Christianity, there are many who wink at what their deity abhors. 35 pix worth the click.
Obama signs executive order okaying burial of gay partners in military cemeteries – Think about this for a moment. In the whole scheme of things, the results from this very, very small action among the many that are being taken in Washington are almost nothing. However, many will hold their heads and wail about the “symbolism”–before turning on the TV and settling down to an evening of the normal decadence of what is called “the American Way of Life.”
Court renews order allowing NSA to continue collecting phone records – At this stage of the game, is there any reader who believes that ALL of their data is not already housed in a storage facility somewhere?
New GOP House Leader McCarthy: We want to change the country and restructure the government itself – Brave new words. Left unsaid: whether the said restructuring will benefit the masses who labor outside of Washington DC.
11+ million: Disabilities top 11 million for the first time – The system is there to be gamed–and most people will attempt to game the system. That is something to keep in mind for the near future when another, who is described in the Revelation as “…deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do,” offers another system which looks very pleasing to the eye.
The Bible is more than clear. Power deceives like nothing else. Either in this world, of this world or out of this world.
The Assassin Bug – ?!?!?!?! This piece is also remarkable as an example of the fairly recent mainstream media practice of inserting mild cussing into its piece for no reason whatsoever–most likely as a desensitizing tool for those who read instead of watching television.
Pet pre-nups – One of the signs of a decadent society of conspicuous consumers. If the reader is one who thinks this is an entirely natural part of the order of things, the reader should be advised to step back and re-examine some parts of life. Perhaps even conduct an examination to make sure your calling and election?
When Table Salt Becomes Poison – When we’re speaking of slugs and snails?
Atlantis and the Great Plan – Conspiracy theory? Or bits and pieces of esoteric history not widely known? Surely the reader is aware that the version of “history” fed to the citizens is no more reliable than the version of “news” that the same folks choose to manufacture. As with the news, the great challenge is knowing what to keep and what to discard. Like the news, history is much too important a subject to truthfully publish. There is as much deception, perhaps more, attached to the reporting of history than there is to the reporting of news. That all being said, there are some bits and pieces of truth not usually reported to be had from the rubbish in this piece. Again, which is which?
(VIDEO) What a bicycle sprint finish looks like from inside the pack – Every bit as exciting as a barely out-of-control rollercoaster.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
When Drones Fall From The Sky – Over 400 military drones have crashed in major accidents around the world over the last 13 years. Was the reader aware of that? Did the reader think that drones were a much more recent development? Might this get the reader to wonder “What else isn’t he aware of?”

MEDIA NARRATIVES ALERT“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline, what follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.” “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events.
How hard is it for a party to win the White House three times in a row? – It’s been 1980-84-88 since this script last took place.
Abdication has a price – Charles Krauthammer is one of the ablest spinners of media narrative in the business today. He’s authoritative, well-researched and believable. That’s why the media features him. It’s also why he is rewarded with fame and the big bucks.
