ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN?
ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH THE WORLD?
THEN YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
–Romans 12:2
The following article triggered a few observations about people who claim they are Christians but who are in love with the world.
‘Duck Dynasty’ Relative Running For Congress: ‘There Is No God’ In Washington – It has always stumped this writer how so many who claim to be Christians can exalt a clan so firmly entrenched in this world; so firmly anchored to the things of this world?
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
–James 4:4
There’s no greater sign of friendship with this world than wielding earthly, political power. But then, the Duck Dynasty crew have become the perfect symbol for the American version of Christianity: mouthing “I love you, Jesus” while their hands write love letters to the world.
A family, conformed to this world, exalted by so many in the Church who have a reality TV show, rake in millions of dollars and run for Congress? Hey, that’s just the blessings of the American Jesus!
“BUT, BUT, BUT…if we had earthly power, think of the things we could accomplish for Jesus!”
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.”
–John 18:36
There are no end to the “christians” who insist that the LORD’s kingdom IS of this earth–and that they have been hand-picked to usher in that kingdom by whatever means–contrary to the clear teachings of the Bible. How many are preparing to bring in an earthly kingdom the Bible states will look like Christianity, but will really be of Satan?

The whore church will be filled with such apostates who are firm friends with the world. Of course, the American “Christian” is an expert in maintaining friendship with the world while sitting in a pew with Jesus on his lips. In America, “friendship with the world” is known as “The American Dream.” Some call it “Living the Good Life” or “Living the Dream.”

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

Separating from the World: END TIMES SURVIVAL
It’s a small thing to sit down and turn on the television and spend time in front of it. People will say “I only watch cooking shows” or “I only watch Animal Planet.”
Okay. Do you watch the commercials? There are dozens of commercials every hour in broadcast TV. Even cable TV has commercial advertisements.
Commercials use SIN to sell products–and we’re not referring to SEX, we’re referring to SIN. Every single one of those commercials appeal to “all that is in the world.” Every single commercial tempts the viewer with the “lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye or the pride of life.”
The Bible warns that the churches will be filled with mostly fake and phoney Christians in the end times.
Which are you: a fake and phoney Christian or a true believer? One way to tell is how you treat the world. Are you wary of the world? Are you uncomfortable in the world? Are you constantly reminded that you live in a lost and dying and corrupt world?
Or are you fairly happy and having a good time “living your life”? Do you spend the majority of your time “enjoying God’s blessings?”
