Supreme Court chips away at ObamaCare – Sure it is. If the reader doesn’t smell “narrative” on this story, then there’s something wrong with the sense of smell. Remember back when the Supreme Court had the opportunity to declare ObamaCare unconstitutional. It did not. In fact, “conservative stalwart” CJ Roberts cast the vote to keep ObamaCare alive. The only “chipping away” is in the pages and newscasts of the Corporate Media. It’s what the Corporate Media spoon-feed the people who believe their narratives.
The purposes of ObamaCare had little to do with health care. The more the story of ObamaCare plays out, the more that becomes apparent. In the meantime, the press will do whatever it can to soothe the anxieties of Americans–right up until the final curtain.
Supreme Court Rules Some Corporations Can Refuse To Pay For Contraception – This will be trumpeted as a victory for the pro-life forces. It has to be: they have not had any actual victories to keep babies alive. The only “victories” the pro-life movement ever wins is some intermediate legal cases. In the meantime, the slaughter continues–and the pro-life movement continues to raise money and hold marches in lieu of actually making a difference.
As it has done every year for the last forty years.
This is what passes for being pro-life. Is there a reader who believes this assessment of the pro-life movement is too harsh? What? Is forty years not enough to claim victory when a substantial number of Americans are against abortion? Practically the ENTIRE USA was against abortion when it was made the law of the land. That was over 40 years ago. Since then, the pro-life movement has only succeeded in regulating the death of innocents while proclaiming it to be “victory.” Pathetic.

Hobby Lobby’s Hypocrisy: The Company’s Retirement Plan Invests In Contraception Manufacturers – When pew-sitters celebrate the Hobby Lobby decision as a “victory” (the Christan PR wire was slammed by every “ministry” claiming victory), it’s one sign that apostasy is ubiquitous. True Christians are very peculiar–even to most church-going pew-sitters.
One day soon, true Christians will be compared to the fundamentalist Islamists that the Corporate Media has taught so many in America to hate. As one man in a church put it six or seven months ago, “I probably shouldn’t say this, but I think we’d be better off if all of the Muslims were gone.”
Does that sound like a follower of Christ? The response was:
“Well, I think you’re gonna get your wish. At least we’re gonna try real hard to pull it off.”

What would have been amazing would have been if Pelosi had uttered the word “Jesus.” An American politician has to be in a truly desperate situation to allow that word to fall from his lips. “Jesus” is like Kryptonite to DC politicians.

In John’s second and third epistles we are given sound criteria for discerning whether or not the church we are visiting can become our church home. These two epistles give the doctrinal and behavioral characteristics of a sound body, and the aberrations that attend a church that isn’t serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

Tim Cook led 5000 from Apple in Gay Pride parade in San Francisco – A few things are interesting about the photo which headed this piece. 1- The unidentified man with Apple CEO Cook is flashing the ever-popular (in the Corporate Media anyway) “devil’s horns; and, 2- Apple’s logo (featured on the shirts of both men) is an apple with a bite out of it. Have believers meditated on what that logo symbolizes? How many pew-sitters have iPhones? To how many does it make the least difference?

Americans are very accustomed to “have it your way.” This habit of picking the parts we like and ignoring what we find inconvenient has spread to American Christianity. But is Christianity a menu from which to order what one likes?
Christianity and Same Sex Marriage – This piece starts out: “I am a Christian.”
I have no problem with telling people that, when they ask. I have no problem with other religions be they Christian, Jehovah’s Witness, or whomever, telling me. Faith is important to me, and if it is so important to someone else that they profess it, more power to them.
This was EXACTLY the stance of this writer–when he was a heathen. There was no pretensions of being a “Christian.” He knew exactly what he was–and a “follower of Christ” wasn’t on the menu.
We live in a country where MANY claim to be Christians, yet don’t adhere to the tenets of Christianity. In fact, disobedience is a boldly-announced part of this ethos. Such people place God’s Word in the “Options I have looked at but have declined to follow” list. IF one is a Christian, one follows the commands of God’s Word.
It’s that simple.
“If you love me, keep my commandments.”

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

The linked piece then goes on to inform readers that the author is a Christian who’s okay with same sex marriage.
And what did the Law have to say about homosexuality?
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
—Leviticus 20:13
Lest anyone think that homosexuality was only a sin in the Old Testament, the apostle Paul wrote about it several times and in very easy-to-understand sentences.
“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,”

The two Greek words translated in this phrase refer to the active and passive partners in a homosexual relationship.
Pretty clear, huh?
NOW, we’re not to condemn homosexuals–or anyone. We’re to offer them a way out of their enslavement to sin–just as Christians are to offer any who are lost a way out. We’re to give them the gospel.
BUT only 2 percent of American Christians share their faith. Which means that 98 percent of the people who sit in churches and call themselves “Christian” in America ARE NO SUCH THING: they’re pretenders. These people are not godless: they all have their own little gods they’ve created.
But their little gods are not God Almighty–and they are not Christians. They are idol worshipers.
What does the Bible say about homosexuality?
What does the Bible tell us about homosexuality? Is homosexuality a sin?
IF one doesn’t follow God’s Word, one is something other than a Christian–and the god that person is following is an idol erected to receive the worship the God of the Bible deserves. But America is a land of idols. This is confirmed by the many times one hears the phrase “My god wouldn’t (or would) do so-and-so.”
One can be a Christian. Or, one be a same sex marriage supporter. But one can’t be both. It’s really very simple.
Except in apostate America which specializes in turning sin into virtue. Americans think they can “have it all.” Well, they can’t. Not on this topic anyway.
Christianity is not an arena for debate and discussion. One doesn’t get to have an opinion on something about which God has already spoken. While Americans are used to proclaiming “I think” and “I feel,” these have no place in true Christianity. Christianity is not a menu. One either follows God’s commandments and is a Christian.
Or one picks and chooses and is not. One can go to a church, own a Bible, and boldly proclaim that he is a Christian–but that doesn’t mean anything when it’s all said and done.
Jesus was quite clear on the matter.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

The decision didn’t save one baby’s life. Only 2% of American Christians share their faith. This is what passes for a Christian “victory.” Little wonder America births the whore Church. One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article.
