NEWS about World War 3.
Are we on the road to World War 3? How much time do we have? Is there anything we can do about the events which are soon to overtake those living on the earth?
July 21 – What a difference one week brings.
After a mostly quiet six or seven weeks, the downing of Malaysian Airlines MH-17 by a rocket thrust the violence in Ukraine back onto the front pages.
The loss of almost 300 civilian lives pushed the events in Iraq and even the ground offensive in Gaza into the background. The conspiratorially-minded might even suggest that the MH-17 incident might have been a distraction from the Israeli attacks on Gaza. But that is sheer speculation.
As it was, all it took was the downing of a civilian jet airliner and “World War 3” and “World War III” returned to the headlines with a vengeance.
THE CALL: While the world will end up eventually in World War III, the events in the Ukraine this past week will not provoke it.
The violence in Iraq has not gone away, it has merely been shifted lower down the priority list for the Corporate Media. The events in the Middle East and ISIS will soon make a return to the top of the news.
What we said last week: “Ukraine is still bubbling.” And so it is.
Already there are the customary calls for a UN ceasefire in Gaza. But Israel will not stop until its objectives are met. Publicly, they appear to be a sweep through Gaza and a dismantling of the underground tunnels which Hamas has built.
THE GOOD NEWS: Asia and all of the other “hot spots were relatively quiet last week.
What will this coming week bring?

(Of course, the agents of the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) never miss an opportunity to brand any narrative not under their control as “conspiracy theory.” Interestingly enough, many of these so-called “conspiracy theories” have originated with the Corporate Media this time around.)

World War 3 Watch: July 24, 2014 – Special Report
General World War 3 Assessment for July 21, 2014:
Ukraine – Last week we said: “Could flare up without warning.” It has. Will it mean anything in the grand scheme of things? Probably. Will it mean anything in the grand scheme of World War III? Perhaps not.
IRAQ: ISIS continues to dominate the headlines. But those headlines have been pushed out of the center spotlight for at least this past week.
Which illustrates how one event can take over the Corporate Media. And when the Corporate Media is on a 24/7 roll, it gives the appearance of urgency and emergency.
GAZA: Israel is conducting another ground offensive against little resistance. The UN will likely separate the combatants after Israel has accomplished what it wants. IN the meantime, the Gaza civilians will take it on the chin. Likewise for any Israeli unfortunate enough to be the target of a Hamas rocket.
There’s a 34% chance of World War III; which is UP 1%.
July 29 is the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I. Expect a bunch of media pieces examining various parts of the narrative we call history–and history about World War I.
Actually, a lot of Americans are suckers for anything deemed “historic” by the Corporate Media. Over the next ten days, expect media pieces connecting the events of 2014 with the events of 1914.
Will the 1ooth anniversary of the start of World War I mean anything? Our call is that there will be tense moments, but the world will skate past the anniversary without the commencement of WWIII.
Elite string-pullers have been known to be nostalgic for such dates, but there’s bigger fish to fry in 2014. So while July 29 may herald something significant, World War III is probably months away.
A continued chance of a domestic terror attack [+67%] leading to war in the Middle East before October 2016. Continued talk in the media of a Muslim terror attack sees the chances of a domestic terror attack unchanged over the last week.
Asia continues “Quiet.”
Africa – quiet.
Nothing has changed over the last year in the following assessment: The Middle East and North Africa remain a tinderbox awaiting a spark.
TENSION ASSESSMENT: July 14, 2014
- North Korea – down
- Ukraine – up
- Syria – steady
- Jordan – down
- East Africa – down – This includes South Sudan
- China – down
- Japan – continued downward trend over last few weeks
- North Africa – down. Libya, steady with outbreaks of violence
- Russia – steady, with continued interest in Ukraine, Syria and Iraq.
- USA -Leveling off with continued Iraqi involvement. Obama has made a few remarks about Ukraine, but nothing substantial.
- Egypt – down with continued pockets of unrest
- Iran – down, although the Islamic Republic missed another deadline this past week. And were warned once again that this would be the “last time.”
- Israel – up sharply. Ground offensive in Gaza getting headlines. It’s expected to be over fairly quickly. Is there a surprise in this Gaza package?
- NATO – quiet
- Iraq – Continued chaos by “ISIS.”
July 21, 2014 – The world has resumed its steady march to World War 3.
“After a few weeks of relative calm, expect at least one place to flare up in the next week. That’s been the usual pattern.”
That what we said two weeks ago, and sure enough: violence in Israel and Ukraine have flared up. They intensified both places over the last week.
Iraq continues in what is being called a “melt down” on its way to “civil war.”
Keep on eye on the Gaza ground offensive. There’s always the chance of a “surprise” taking place. Events in the Middle East tend to spiral to war as quickly as any on earth.
SPECULATION: Look for something big in 2015 leading to something bigger in 2016 with full-blown World War by 2017.
Nothing has happened which has invalidated this SPECULATION.
Overall Tension Assessment: Israel has replaced Iraq in the discussion of World War 3 and its timing.
The world is still relatively quiet. But the tensions are in the air. People are clearly nervous about the potential for World War 3. Enjoy the relative peace for at a little while longer.
