ISRAEL: Israel escalating war
ISRAEL: What would Jesus do in Gaza? – This article comes from a large publication by the name of The Daily Beast. That name should take on a different meaning for Christians than for those in the world.
CHINA: Chinese missile forces pose threat to USA – Just a hunch, but isn’t that the reason for China having missiles
According to AFP, at one central Hanoi restaurant the cats are drowned, shaved and burned to remove their fur before being butchered and fried with garlic. A snack of cat meat is colloquially known as little tiger, and typically served with beer and eaten at the beginning of the lunar month.
Who was this protest aimed at? For whose benefit was this organized? Was this media event organized to somehow sway the mind of the man in the White House, who agrees with the demonstrators? Or was this media event presented for the benefit of the people watching at home? Those questions are fairly easy to answer. Now, readers might put on their thinking caps: Why do you suppose the folks at home were treated to the spectacle of illegal immigrants protesting in front of the White House? What reaction was the media/government hoping to achieve?
Radio host Laura Ingraham hints at running for office – Because, let’s face it: we don’t have nearly enough media celebrities in our government at present.
PENTAGON: America less safe today after 13 years of war – Gee, who could have seen that coming?
Does Obama want to get impeached? It’s all in a day’s work…
Conservatism is the new Punk Rock – No wait! Conservatism is the new day-old mayonaise! No, no, that’s not it. Conservatism is the new pot-smoking slacker! Wait, I’ve got it: Conservatism is the new two shots of espresso! Give me a minute…
POLL: Religion remains a strong marker of political identity in the USA – Of course it does. In the USA, religion and politics are confused every day–particularly by those calling themselves “Christians.”
QUESTION #1: How many 6’s can the reader find in the following symbol?
A few months ago, Liz Kaye wrote about a group by the name of LieKillers and a creepy video the group produced titled “Mark of God.”. [Mark of God? Beware of False Prophets] She also wrote LieKillers: Who Are LieKillers?
QUESTION #2 – Does anyone see a resemblance in the symbol above and any of the symbols below (used by LieKillers)? At some point in the future, it’s strongly suspected there will be a quiz.
Satanists Demand Religious Exemption From Abortion Restrictions, Cite Hobby Lobby Ruling – Oh, you thought the Hobby Lobby ruling was all about “protecting Christianity”? At some point, true believers will finally get that there are no government actions which protect true Christians. There are no Big Media or Big Hollywood productions which glorify Jesus. Antichrist organizations hate Jesus. The only way to get around these unpleasant facts is through compromise with the world. Which is something at which Americans excel.
STUDY: Exposure to sun lowers risk of some forms of cancer – And raises the risk of others. There are a great many of these types of stories in the media. It’s suspected the proper reaction to hearing this would either be a shrug or “What’s the use?”
FROM 4 1/2 MONTHS AGO: Six days a week, we try to give readers a snapshot of what is happening in the news for that day. Here’s a few things that were happening in the middle of March. [From End Times Prophecy Headlines: March 15-16, 2014.]
“Putin is playing hardball and Obama is playing Tee Ball” – Politicians in Washington have been playing the game of insulting each other while they steal the citizens blind. Americans may be getting ripped off, but at least they’ve been entertained…
MORE Awesome Industrial Animated GIFs – (h/t:B)
Something is seriously wrong with the Son of God movie – Here’s a clue: “lightworkers” usually refers to those who espouse Lucifer. So it’s not an odd name for a media production company: Lightworkers Media. It is, however, an odd choice for a supposedly Christian company.
Readers can form their own judgments.
Vandals paint swastikas on Miami synagogue, smear cream cheese on cars – Seriously? “Smear cream cheese on cars?!?!” Are these urban vandals or some out-of-control Amish hoodlums?
(VIDEO) How to multiply 4×9 – This two-minute video will force parents to consider quitting their jobs, staying at home and teaching their children. If you have a child, do ANYTHING to avoid sending him or her to public school. No wonder kids don’t learn anything. Does anyone suspect this is anything other than planned? A dumbed-down population is an easier population to control.
GOD’S NOT DEAD, THE MOVIE
Review/Rant: God’s Not Dead – The Most Offensive Movie I’ve Ever Seen – The author of this piece seems concerned about starting “conversations” (If only one could buy stock in annoying, overused buzzwords), The only conversation this piece starts is “How ironic is it when a review exhibits the same flaws the reviewer sees in the movie he’s supposed to be reviewing?”
If the piece had been more clever, the reviewer might have given the reader the sense that the irony was planned. But no, it was wholly unintentional as the only cleverness here will be the reader devising ways to trick himself into finishing it.
This is however, an excellent example of the license youngsters believe they have IF they first use the word “Rant” in the headline of a piece. “Rant” is the ideal word for the self-exalted times in which we live; a word beloved by the those with little more to offer than attitude.
In engaging in such gross self-indulgence at the readers’ expense, writers make the review about themselves instead of the subject they are supposedly reviewing. This makes these kinds of pieces–as well as the popularity of “Rant”–perfect for a generation whose highest art form is the selfie.
Atheists Bad, Christians Good: A review of “God’s Not Dead” – A much better review–which is not the same as saying the ideas it communicates are correct. Though written by an atheist, it is far less self-indulgent and therefore, much easier to read.
Review of God’s not Dead: An Inspiring Christian Movie – Our own Liz Kaye weighs in.
I don’t imagine that this movie will cause multitudes of unbelievers to come to Jesus, although I do think that many may come to Christ as a result of the seeds planted, but the true effect of God’s Not Dead will be on the life of believers.
This writer’s take of God’s Not Dead? It’s not a very good movie but it’s the perfect movie for the pew-sitters now inhabiting churches. The protagonist’s “defense” of God is not very good. IF any atheists were converted by this movie, it would only be through a miracle of God–and it would present a better argument for the existence of God than anything offered in the movie.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
-–1 Corinthians 15:1-4 – (h/t:B)
The Paradox of Intolerant – This is something we see everyday. According to the Bible, this absurdity will govern the end times.
(PHOTOS) The Hallowed Ground Of World War I, Then And Now – Today is the 100th anniversary of World War I.
MEDIA NARRATIVES ALERT
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.” “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.
Fear Spreads Alongside Ebola – Spreading fear has been a Corporate Media specialty for decades.
