Obama defends his use of executive power – EVERY president from George Washington to Barack Obama has defended their use of executive power.

In 1791, the federal government imposed a tax not even the British had seen fit to levy.  The tax on distilled spirits (whiskey) caused farmers in Western Pennsylvania (many had fought against the British) to rise up against the new government.  They had risked their lives–supposedly because of “no taxation without representation.”  Now, the feds were taxing the easiest way for them to store their corn.  They had believed the slogans when they went to war.  But when the Feds want money, it’s always a different story.

Washington ordered out the militia of several states and rode at the head of these armed troops to put down the revolt.  The Whiskey Rebellion was the first example of the Federal Government’s policy of “Don’t believe our flowery words when we need something from you. . Just do as you’re told or we’ll crush you.”

Washington defended his use of executive power with real troops.  Which he commanded.

FCC investigates complaints over NBC for raunchy Miley Cyrus special – NBC might get fined.  Big deal.  It’s gotten more than its share of publicity from the affair.  The FCC has to look like its doing something other than harassing people on the Internet, so there very well could be a fine levied.

White House ball – The media headline screams “Obama wines and dines evil dictators and homophobes.”  That’s to reinforce the notion that anyone against homosexuality is evil.

POLL: Chris Christie trails Clinton in New Jersey? – A couple observations.  1- It should be expected that politicians will do the worst where people know them the best.  Christie is no exception.  2- Anyone who trails Hillary Clinton should automatically be disqualified from running for the nomination of the GOP.

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
Genesis 12:3

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
Matthew 24:4

“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”
Revelation 2:9

A reader brought up a good point concerning secular Israel and biblical Israel: there are Jews that will be saved living in secular Israel. He is 100 percent correct.

Many Christians take any criticism of the secular state of Israel as “anti-Semitism;” as an attack on Jews or an attack on God.

It is neither.

We are not to curse the seed of Abraham.  Actually, believers are not to curse anyone (at least that this writer can find).  We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). Jerusalem will know peace when Jesus returns, not via some man-made peace initiative or peace talks.

That being said, we are also to commanded to watch; to not be deceived; to be sober.

Jesus warned three times in Matthew 24 about the deception which would be the hallmark of the last days.  He warned twice in Revelation of the synagogue of Satan: of those “which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie;” (Rev 3:9).

Jesus must have thought it very important to TWICE warn about these false Jews; of these descendents of the Pharisees, a group which love the world; love the power and riches of this world but hate Jesus.  Rejecting Jesus, the synagogue of Satan looks for a Messiah to lead them to earthly power, riches and an earthly kingdom.  2 Thessalonians 2:3 calls this leader the “man of sin.”

We’re commanded to warn about deception; that deception includes the secular, man-created state of Israel which is NOT biblical Israel. There are observant Jews in Israel.  They are often the victims of violence. God promises He will save His remnant–and He will.  However, make no mistake: secular Israel is not biblical Israel.  Those who confuse the two will reap the unfortunate harvest of deception.  The Christian ignores Jesus’ clear warnings in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 at his own risk.

God will save a remnant of the Jews–just as He has always promised. This total redemption begins just prior to Jesus’ Second Coming.  Now however, rejecting Jesus, the Jews are lost; they will be brought through great troubles.  The troubles will be the result of this false messiah.  But a remnant will turn to Jesus and be saved.

“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:”

Romans 11:26

Do not be deceived: in Romans 11:26, Paul is clearly speaking of this Jewish remnant.  Just as not all who call themselves “Christian” are true born-again believers, not all who call themselves “Jews” are Jews.  Jesus specifically warned us of these counterfeits.  God knows who is who; God will sort them out.

God will save a remnant, not a clever counterfeit.

“And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”

Zechariah 13:8-9

“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.”

Jeremiah 30:7-9

The Sin of Worshiping the Land of Israel instead of the God of Israel – This article makes some good points.  It does confuse the synagogue of Satan with “Jews.” That is the subtle lie that most sites warning of secular Israel place in their warnings.  One suspects this is not by happenstance.  The synagogue of Satan are not Jews.  Jesus said that they claim they are Jews, but they lie. He leveled the same charge at the Pharisees.  John the Baptist also rebuked the Pharisees as well.

“Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.”
Luke 3:8

Minnesota restaurants adding “minimum wage fee” onto bills due to rate hike – Will this become the norm?  Will the person who orders a $7 meal get hit with sales tax, minimum wage fee, gasoline tax, workers comp fee and other fees based on the state raising taxes and fees?  Will that $7 meal become a $10 meal?

Ten percent of cancer survivors still smoke – Proving that smoking is more than just a “bad habit” or an “addiction.”  These are words modern men invented to wink at sin.  When tobacco was first introduced in England, it was called “devil’s weed.”  King James I denounced tobacco in positively diabolical terms.

“[a] custome lothsome to the eye, hatefull to the Nose, harmefull to the braine, dangerous to the Lungs, and in the blacke stinking fume thereof, neerest resembling the horrible Stigian smoke of the pit that is bottomelesse.”

So maybe there’s something else going on beyond mere habit when 1 out of every 10 cancer survivor still inflicts the same poison on his body which almost killed him.  Maybe?  Wonder what it might be?

The Number 1 question to ask narcissists

ANN COULTER: Ebola doctor’s condition improves to “idiotic” – Coulter tries for provocative.  Sometimes she misses and misses badly.  Of course, what could this writer say about Ann Coulter that hasn’t already been said previously by someone else?  Like all other Corporate Media creatures, she’ll write whatever her paymasters tell her to write.  She’s paid to be the “edgy” bomb-thrower.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)?  One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article.  When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.”  “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events.  Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.

Why human beings keep fighting wars

What would you do if your people had been under occupation for 50 years? – Here’s the truth: everyone is under occupation.  It just depends on how far back one wants to go in history.  The American Indians probably believe they are living under occupation.  But then, if one goes back far enough, who did the Indians displace?
