Some Observations:
PAINTING ALL JEWS WITH A BROAD BRUSH
“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.“
–Revelation 2:9
With the Gaza War resuming in earnest, now seems to be the time for a few observations about the secular state of Israel, biblical Israel, Jews, the synagogue of Satan and the deliberate Corporate (and other) Media smokescreens which obscure these subjects.
1- Discussion of secular Israel vs biblical Israel is hampered by the charge of “antisemitism,” which is not helpful. However, most discussions of this nature do usually live up to the charge.
The preferred method of discussing Jews in general and secular Israel in particular seems to consist of one of two broad brushes. Both of these viewpoints are simply wrong. But it appears most people, either willfully or through ignorance, pick one of these two predetermined media-endorsed viewpoints. This is what is known as falling for a Hegelian dialectic.
The two viewpoints are: A- All Jews are evil. There is a world conspiracy composed of all Jews which is antichrist in nature; and, B- All Jews are good. The secular state of Israel–a creation of men, many with occult backgrounds–is “God’s timepiece.” Israel and it’s leadership are doing the “work of God.” Any criticism of this creation of man, the secular state of Israel, is like cursing Abraham.
The first viewpoint is pushed relentlessly by the godless Corporate Media, especially the godless Corporate Alternative Media. The second is the default position of most of the godless Corporate American Church.
2- An example of the first position is the daily “news” coverage attempting to portray all Jews in Israel as power-mad, land-grabbing child-killers. The second is on display in the following article: The Condemnation of Israel as a Nation is Simply Hatred of the Jews!
Though the article is the default position of many who profess to be Christians, is it correct? After all, Jesus Himself was a Jew. Can one abhor the actions of the leadership of the man-created, totally-100 percent-secular state named Israel while loving the completely different “children of Israel” of the Bible? And make no mistake, this article is referring, not to the “children of Israel” of the Bible, but to the political creation bearing the same name.
Naturally, Americans in general (and Christian in particular) have been pushed to embrace one of these two wrong-headed views. One alternative is that A- all Jews who truly worship God the Father do not belong to the synagogue of Satan [Rev 2:9, 3:9]; B- the secular state of Israel is a counterfeit; C- God will save some Jews who live in the counterfeit, man-created state of Israel [Zech 13:8-9].
3- Can one pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6) while condemning the actions of the cabal who holds power there?
Of course.
Then how to treat such an assertion that “condemnation of Israel is simply hatred of the Jews?”
This is akin to saying “Everyone who condemns the actions of President Obama simply hates Americans.” Or, “Everyone who hates the USA simply hates Americans.” Is that true? No, it is not.
When someone makes an impossibly broad statement as this, it usually means several things: 1- An attempt is being made to preempt discussion on an issue; or, 2- someone is selling something. Or both.
4- Of course, the largest mistake–and there are quite a few in the linked piece, which is relatively short–is that one cannot separate the Jews as a people from the actions taken by the leadership of the secular state of Israel. But we know that is a lie. On practically every current issue, the Jews in Israel do not agree. They do not agree with the leadership, with the Jews in in the USA, with each other In fact, Jews themselves famously ask: What do you have when you have two Jews? Answer: Three opinions.
The antichrist leadership of the secular state of Israel has been amply documented elsewhere. The disagreements–sometimes violent–of Jews within Israel with that leadership have also been well noted over the years.
It has been the centuries-long work of two groups, the synagogue of Satan and anti-Semitics (not two mutually exclusive groups), to tie the entire Jewish people to the abominable actions of a few who claim to be Jews. Whether it was the cabal behind the Zionist movement in the late 1800s, Hitler in the 1930s, or the leadership of secular Israel: everywhere, anytime, the synagogue of Satan has had the opportunity, people die–a great many of them observant Jews.
Present-day writers who confuse all Jews with the synagogue of Satan belong to a long tradition of attempting to paint ALL JEWS with a broad brush. ALL Jews–in fact the vast majority–do not belong to the synagogue of Satan; nor hold a belief in the kabbalah; do not consort with the enemies of God Almighty.
In Jesus’ day, this smaller (though better-known) group was known as the Pharisees. Jesus had much to say about this group of pretenders. Believers can refer to all four gospel accounts. Here’s a sample:
“Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
–Matthew 15:7-9
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
–Matthew 23:15
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.”
–Matthew 23:29
“Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?”
–Matthew 23:33
Incidentally, these are, for the most part, apt descriptions of the present generation of American “Christians” as well.
Approximately 50-60 years after Jesus was crucified, He called these hypocrites “the synagogue of Satan” (Rev 2:9 and 3:9) in His revelation to John. This is the same group which hates Christians, hates Jesus, hates observant Jews, hates God Almighty and continues to this day to work furiously to bring their “messiah” to power–the one who true believers know as the “man of sin.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
5- So again: is condemnation of the actions of the secular state of Israel “simply hatred of the Jews?”
Well, that’s the take of the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) and many Christians parrot that line, either knowingly or unknowingly. Of course, many who write on the synagogue of Satan attempt this very thing of painting all Jews with the same broad brush. These writers often hide behind a facade of “Warning about the synagogue of Satan” while linking all Jews to that one small antichrist cabal.
True believers are to love everyone–including Jews, who at present do not know Jesus and are as lost as any heathen. As such, we are to bring them the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ whenever possible. This includes telling them they–like all men–are sinners. As can be expected, the gospel message is not received well by the majority of men.
The trick of painting all Jews as belonging to the synagogue of Satan has been a primary tactic of the anti-Semitic throughout history. It has brought untold grief and sorrow to observant Jews throughout the world.
Today that tactic continues under the guise of linking the antichrist leadership of secular Israel to all Jews.
However, all that being said, this writer does agree with the parting thought of this linked piece: Jesus IS coming soon!
6- One longer observation is prompted by a response to the original publication of several of these points.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

A reader brought up a good point concerning secular Israel and biblical Israel: there are Jews who will be saved living in secular Israel. He is 100 percent correct.
Many Christians take any criticism of the secular state of Israel as “antisemitism;” as an attack on Jews or an attack on God.
It is neither.
We are not to curse the seed of Abraham. Actually, believers are not to curse anyone (at least that this writer can find). We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). Jerusalem will know peace when Jesus returns, not via some man-made peace initiative or peace talks.
That being said, we are also to commanded to watch; to not be deceived; to be sober.
Jesus warned three times in Matthew 24 about the deception which would be the hallmark of the last days. He warned twice in Revelation of the synagogue of Satan: of those “which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie;” (Rev 3:9).
Jesus must have thought it very important to TWICE warn about these false Jews; of these descendents of the Pharisees, a group which love the world; love the power and riches of this world but hate Jesus. Rejecting Jesus, the synagogue of Satan looks for a Messiah to lead them to earthly power, riches and an earthly kingdom. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 calls this coming leader the “man of sin.”
We’re commanded to warn about deception; that deception includes the secular, man-created state of Israel which is NOT biblical Israel. There are observant Jews in Israel. They are often the victims of violence. God promises He will save His remnant–and He will. However, make no mistake: secular Israel is not biblical Israel. Those who confuse the two will reap the unfortunate harvest of deception. The Christian ignores Jesus’ clear warnings in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 at his own risk.
God will save a remnant of the Jews–just as He has always promised. This total redemption begins just prior to Jesus’ Second Coming. Now however, rejecting Jesus, the Jews are lost; some will be brought through great troubles, to their redemption. The troubles will be the result of this false messiah. But a remnant will turn to Jesus and be saved.
“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:”
-–Romans 11:26
Do not be deceived: in Romans 11:26, Paul is clearly speaking of this Jewish remnant. Just as not all who call themselves “Christian” are true born-again believers, not all who call themselves “Jews” are Jews. Jesus specifically warned us of these counterfeits. Which brings up a few questions.
Who exactly would claim to be a Jew (a group of people generally persecuted throughout history) when they are not–and what would the reasons be behind such a claim? As with most things concerning end times prophetic events, deception is obviously involved. Counterfeits and imposters and lies are Satan’s stock in trade.
God knows who is who; God will sort them out.
God will save His remnant, not a clever counterfeit.
“And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”
–Zechariah 13:8-9
“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.”
–Jeremiah 30:7-9
7- One final observation is this offering as an example of the confusion of all Jews with the synagogue of Satan.
The Sin of Worshiping the Land of Israel instead of the God of Israel – This article makes some good points. It does confuse the synagogue of Satan with “Jews.” That is the subtle lie that most sites warning of secular Israel place in their warnings. One suspects this is not by happenstance. The synagogue of Satan are not Jews. Jesus said that they claim they are Jews, but they lie. He leveled the same charge at the Pharisees. John the Baptist also rebuked the Pharisees as well.
“Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.”
–Luke 3:8
CONCLUSION
All Jews are not in the synagogue of Satan.
Secular Israel is not biblical Israel. It is a counterfeit.
Like all counterfeits, its intention is to deceive.
Christians are commanded to “be not deceived.”
True believers are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
True believers are to pray for the lost–and currently, that includes the Jews. Prayers to God to open the eyes of the lost should be part of any true believer’s daily supplications.
“That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”
—John 12:38-40
“What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?”

Do not be deceived.
God’s Word will be fulfilled.
It is currently being fulfilled to the letter before all those who have eyes to see.
