Repealing ObamaCare fades as rallying cry for Republicans – All according to the script.  The Republicans had no intention of repealing ObamaCare–they had too much invested in socialized medicine.  Plus, they had the Corporate Media covering for them with four years of constant excuse-making

Chris Christie: Lout – This is damage control.  It pretends that Christie’s boorish brutality is an act.  Christie IS a lout. He is far too natural for it to be an act.  He has far less self-control than most other politicians.

It’s little wonder the mystery of iniquity chose to first take control of the media.  In a “republic” or a “democracy,” those who control the press–the public voice–control the nation.  That is demonstrated every day in the USA.  Control the press first.  The politics, government and everything else will then fall in line.

Henry the Wise’s prophetic dream – (h/t:TM) Interesting account of an alleged dream by Fredrick the Wise in 1517.  But was the dream from God? There is much evidence in the account given by Fredrick to question the origin of the dream.  As stated, interesting.  Which is why it merits a longer commentary–which it will receive in the very near future.

Then one realizes that Oklahoma is every state.

“IF it can happen in Oklahoma, it can happen here.”

Why does the world raise up certain men in various fields? Why does the world raise up authority figures? Why does the world highly esteem certain man-created authorities such as psychiatry and education? The answer is: the world is an enemy of God.

Henry James – (h/t:F) Every time the world raises up a man, the Christian must ask himself “For what reason?”

Short of an act of God Almighty, the world does not give its coin (fame, power, money) away lightly.  It does not bestow its gifts on those who are unfriendly.

“…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
James 4:4

So it is with “men of letters,” the literary world.  The world can bestow its favors on any it chooses.  It will only choose those friendly with the world AND it will choose those who help it further its antichrist agenda.

So again, the question concerning Henry James: why did the world choose to raise him up?

To the reader who is tempted to answer “Talent”: don’t be naive.

Talent is never the primary consideration when discussing who the world chooses to raise up.  A thorough look back over those the world chose to elevate in the literary field shows a great many who possess mediocre talent at best.  Oh, there are a few obviously-talented ones (Twain and Bierce come to mind), but on the whole, American letters is a dung heap of mediocrity.

The devil is not your friend. He is not trying to expand your thinking, he is not trying to make you a better individual, nor is he attempting to make you more tolerant and all-embracing for your spiritual betterment. So why is he trying so hard to do away with Jesus?

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)?  One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article.  When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.”  “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events.  Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.

The psychology of irrational fear – This is a demonstration of how the Corporate Media is an interconnected web of lies, deceit and self-reinforcing fables. “Irrational fear” is not the narrative here. The narrative is the subtle reference that “psychology” is some sort of quantifiable science. By giving psychology such deference, the Corporate Media builds up it’s authority in the eyes of Americans.  This takes place hundreds of times every day with any number of topics.

In this manner, education, medicine, actors/celebrities, politics, psychiatrists, TV preachers and all other sorts of ungodly trash has been raised up (over time) to media-manufactured positions of false authority.

  1. Jeremiah,
This is an unjust generalization: ‘Talent is never a consideration when discussing who the world chooses to raise up.” This simply isn’t true. Perhaps a better way to look at things is that the Lord permits certain people to be elevated to prominence, but that there may be an incredible amount of “undiscovered” talent out there.
About the trash heap of American letters, I like Edith Wharton’s work very much and would never want to say she belonged there. Henry James told some very good stories, such as those in his novels Wings of the Dove and Washington Square, however I read these before the Lord gave me a little more discernment and perhaps Henry isn’t as good as I thought.
Having published a novel that was a flop, I look at my lack of success this way: probably the world (my publisher for one) squelched any recognition as a story writer I might have had, but more importantly that He said, “No”.
About Frederick the Wise’s dream – I enjoyed it, and am especially interested because it showed some of the same kinds of symbolism as appeared in significant dreams that I’ve had. I’m not certain my dreams were from the Lord – I leave this up to Him, but Frederick’s dream indeed could have been, while some of the circumstances that have come down to us, such as the detailed conversation, may not be correct. I’ve added a widget on my blog for “Remarkable Blog Posts,” and the post you’ve linked to is there. I hope to read your article and really want to be able to enjoy it.

    1. Maria,

Thanks (as always) for taking the time to comment.

“This is an unjust generalization: ‘Talent is never a consideration when discussing who the world chooses to raise up.” This simply isn’t true. This is a point well worth discussing.

Of course the Lord will raise up who He will. The world does likewise. Telling the difference between the two is fairly easy: those the Lord raises up do His bidding–not the world’s. Likewise, the world’s esteemed do the god of this world’s bidding–not God Almighty’s.

The best that can be claimed is that “Talent is in the eye of the beholder.”

However, the world will not raise up one who will not do its bidding–no matter HOW TALENTED THAT INDIVIDUAL IS. As was stated, talent is a purely secondary consideration. This does not mean that no talented individuals are raised up by the world. What it means is this: there are talented individuals who are raised up from time to time by the world, but their talent is not the prime consideration. Their willingness to advance the kingdom of this world is first and foremost their prime consideration.

When I was a heathen, i used to say that Edith Wharton was an “acquired taste.”

After reading accounts of Fredrick the Wise’s dream, it is certain that according to those accounts, his dream was not from the Lord. The article will explain why (though a few of the reasons should leap out).

I hope you enjoy the upcoming article too!

      Thanks again for your thoughts.

      1. What sources are you using for Frederick? If you plan to cite them, you don’t have to say now.
        God bless you, Jeremiah!
