1813 – War of 1812: British soldiers burn Buffalo, New York.

1816 – The Treaty of St. Louis (1816) between the United States and the united Ottawa, Ojibwa, and Potawatomi Indian tribes is proclaimed. The history of treaties between the USA and the Indian nations is largely a history of treaties broken by the USA.

1825 – The Treaty of St. Louis between the United States and the Shawnee Nation is proclaimed.

1906 – The All-India Muslim League is founded in Dacca, East Bengal, British India. It went on to lay the foundations of Pakistan.

1922 – The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics is formed.

1993 – Israel and Vatican City establish diplomatic relations. Both are members in good standing of the mystery of iniquity.

2006 – Former President of Iraq Saddam Hussein is executed. Hussein, once a steadfast ally of the USA, proves once more the ultimiate end of those allied with the United States.

2009 – A suicide bomber kills nine people at Forward Operating Base Chapman, a key facility of the Central Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan. The media reports of the event are odd as the CIA doesn’t normally confirm or deny assets in foreign countries.

1695 – A window tax is imposed in England, causing many householders to brick up windows to avoid the tax. This is proof that governments will tax anything they believe will raise money. Among other novel government fundraisers was the Brick tax, Workplace parking levy and the beard tax.

1775 – American Revolutionary War: Battle of Quebec: British forces repulse an attack by Continental Army General Richard Montgomery. This would not be the last time Americans invaded Canada.

1862 – American Civil War: Abraham Lincoln signs an act that admits West Virginia to the Union, thus dividing Virginia in two. This is the first time a US state is partitioned because of war.

1907 – The first New Year’s Eve celebration is held in Times Square (then known as Longacre Square) in New York, New York.

1946 – President Harry S. Truman officially proclaims the end of hostilities in World War II. WWII had ceased in August 1945.

1955 – General Motors becomes the first U.S. corporation to make over US$1 billion in a year.

1991 – All official Soviet Union institutions have ceased operations by this date and the Soviet Union is officially dissolved.

1999 – First President of Russia, Boris Yeltsin, resigns from office, leaving Prime Minister Vladimir Putin as the acting President and successor.

1999 – The United States Government hands control of the Panama Canal (as well all the adjacent land to the canal known as the Panama Canal Zone) to Panama. This act complied with the signing of the 1977 Torrijos–Carter Treaties.

December 29 – World War 3 Watch is back after another two-week break due to inactivity.

This issue of World War 3 Watch is more about wrapping up the year than it is chronicling new developments on the World War III front.

Which is a good thing!

IF the next seven days are as quiet as the past seven weeks, next week’s edition (January 5, 2015) will be mostly a recap of 2014’s World War 3 events. For the record, 2014 ended pretty much the way that 2013 did: very quietly.

BUT readers should keep in mind: there are a number of “hot spots” around the world which could erupt on a moment’s notice.

REMEMBER: World War 3 will happen. It’s not a matter of IF, it’s a matter of WHEN. World War 3 will happen.

The Bible [Revelation 6:4 among others] is clear about on the subject of an end times world war.

World War 3 is coming–and it is a certainty.

THE CALL: Regardless of what fear is promoted in the media, World War 3 is still down the road. However, every day brings it closer to reality. 2015 should bring more events leading, if not to WW3, to the road to total world war.

A YEAR AGO

in WORLD WAR 3 WATCH

World War 3 talk was DOWN–way down–and violence was “in between peaks.”

In fact, World War 3 talk was at such a low point in November 2013 that only seven editions of WW3 Watch would be published from November 2013 until the middle of February 2014. [From World War 3 Watch: November 25, 2013.]

World War 3: ANALYSIS

World War 3 news will headline the world media in the weeks to come.

But once again: not this week. Thankfully.

Though the hot spots were quiet, the killing and violence has not stopped–but once more, new developments were not present this past week.

Ukraine – Basically unchanged. Russia keeps stirring the pot, but nothing solid has happened for weeks. There was some media chatter over the USA and Canada making further commitments to Ukraine, but nothing concrete happened. NOTE: There is still very public, sporadic killing going on.
Baltic States – Unchanged but uneasy.
LIBYA – Unchanged.
IRAQ – Unchanged.
Turkey – Largely unchanged. Kurds and ISIS still in news concerning Turkey.
GAZA – Unchanged.
SYRIA – Unchanged.

As 2014 ends, there’s a 30% chance of World War III; which is unchanged%. This is not because of any peace efforts. The three months-long drop is not due to any slackening in worldwide violence.

The feeling at WW3 Watch a month ago was that either an event which would stir up fears of World War 3 was going to happen within two weeks. OR, events will mirror those of 2013 and stay quiet until February.

(Since that event did not happen, the world may be in for a few more months of peace!)

Regardless, the next pressure point could very well be the Baltic States: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Something could happen in this area as early as the first three months of 2015. Will such an event lead to World War 3? Hard to tell before anything happens, but our guess is: no.

There is just a feeling events have a little bit longer to go before WWIII begins. The long term view is 100%. This is no change from last week. Pre-war propaganda levels in the USA against all things Muslim continues unabated. The escalation in anti-Muslim propaganda in the USA began approximately 6 months ago and continues full force.

Of course, when World War 3 DOES begin, it’s likely to happen quite suddenly after a long build-up. The world is in the building-up stage at present.

The Corporate Media is continues to hype fear in the homeland.

A continued chance of a domestic terror attack before October 2016 leading to war in the Middle East : [+78%}. That’s no change%. Expect this number to gradually increase until the actual attack takes place.

TENSION ASSESSMENT: December 29, 2014

Most of the regional assessment–as has been the case for the last several months–registered “no change” this week.

North Korea – steady.
Ukraine – down–in spite of sporadic heavy fighting
Syria – steady.
Jordan – down
East Africa – steady – This includes South Sudan
China – down
Japan – continued downward trend over the last quarter of 2014.
North Africa – steady.
Russia – steady, with continued interest in Ukraine, Syria and Iraq, the Baltic States and Poland.
USA – steady.
Israel – steady.
Egypt – down with continued pockets of domestic unrest.
Iran – quiet.
NATO – quiet
Iraq – constant level of violence. Continued chaos by “ISIS.” Media attention has been a constant drone.
Afghanistan – NATO prepares to pull out troops. USA will leave 10,000 troops in country buts claims it too is “pulling out.” Violence is sporadic. Usual suspects among the Afghan leadership persistently urge USA to send more troops (mainly to help keep the leadership in power).

The world is on a steady march to World War 3. There will be periods of calm, periods of violence. Even during the periods of quiet, nothing will deter the beginning of World War 3. It’s only a matter of “When?“

December 29, 2014 – Just as events were very quiet at the end of 2013, things are very quiet at the end of 2014 (at least they are with 3 days to go).

When WW3 does break out, it will be without warning; very suddenly.

SPECULATION: The next domestic terror attack will likely involve an EMP or an Ebola-type bio-weapon.

Our call: Violence in Poland/Baltic States by the end of March 2015. Will this happen? We have three more months to wait.

Overall Tension Assessment:The assessments have remained largely unchanged over the last three months.

No one appears to be in a hurry to commence World War III.

Will this week bring bad news? We’ll see.

POLL: Americans feeling optimistic for 2015 – Excuse me, this is at least the fourth article over the last two days on the theme of “Hey! It’s America! Let the Good Times Roll!” Perhaps it’s just this writer, but the extreme optimism lately displayed in the Corporate Media has gone unobserved in real life. Yes, gasoline prices have temporarily retreated. Yet, how many Americans would have celebrated $2.30/gallon prices just seven years ago?

Gasoline prices will roar back with a vengeance soon enough to $5/gallon. Good-paying jobs continue to disappear while other traditional industry jobs (coal, power, natural gas) are threatened. Yes, Americans have lots of retirements and savings but, as the Depression showed, those could soon enough disappear overnight.

These happy-talk articles are reminiscent of Soviet-style economic propaganda. People would stand in long lines for a roll of toilet paper while the Soviet papers proclaimed such things as “Record economic activity!”

The Russian people were not fooled. One suspects neither will Americans.
