SECRET HISTORY: Originally, secret histories were designed as non-fictional, revealing or claiming to reveal the truth behind the “spin”: one such example is the Secret History of the Mongols. Secret histories can range from standard historical revisionism with proper critical reexamination of historical facts to negative historical revisionism wherein facts are deliberately omitted, suppressed or distorted.

43 BC – Marcus Tullius Cicero is assassinated. Cicero was killed a year after Julius Caesar in the power struggles that erupted due to Caesar’s assassination.
1776 – Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, arranges to enter the American military as a major general. Like most of the rest of the American founders, Lafayette was a Freemason.
1787 – Delaware becomes the first state to ratify the United States Constitution. Upon the constitution’s ratification, Patrick Henry declared
“Show me that age and country where the rights and liberties of the people were placed on the sole chance of their rulers being good men without a consequent loss of liberty! I say that the loss of that dearest privilege has ever followed, with absolute certainty, every such mad attempt.”
Henry predicted a great war within 100 years of the constitution’s ratification–and he was correct. The Civil War began 73 years later.
1869 – American outlaw Jesse James commits his first confirmed bank robbery in Gallatin, Missouri. James was one of the first major American outlaws glorified by the press.
1941 – World War II: Attack on Pearl Harbor – The Imperial Japanese Navy carries out a surprise attack on the United States Pacific Fleet and its defending Army and Marine air forces at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. (For Japan’s near-simultaneous attacks on Eastern Hemisphere targets, see December 8.)
A substantial body of evidence exists that the attack on Pearl Harbor was a false flag to propel the USA into World War II.
