Discernment Inc: Servicing the Apostate Churches
Discernment ministries are there for one reason and one reason only: they lead those who desire to know more about Jesus Christ away from Him. They provide a maze of rabbit trails for the potential Christian.
Rabbit trails go here, there, and everywhere, and pretty much tend to lead nowhere. (Have you ever watched a dog sniff out a rabbit trail? It wanders in small then wider circles, around and around, feverishly looking for the rabbit – literally, a meal and, figuratively, the point of one’s argument.) No one knows what’s at the end of a rabbit trail (the point of one’s argument). Is there even an end to it? It’s a confusing maze of pointless leads. In short, a rabbit trail leads (us) nowhere. It serves only to confuse the prey/the reader. It keeps them preoccupied and confused.
The above is a perfect description of the MO of”discernment ministries–which are not to be found in the Bible and which began popping up in the early ’90s like mushrooms after a rain.
Are you listening to the blah-blah-blah of wolves and deceivers? Can you quote men but not the Bible?

One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.” “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.

In many, many communities, the advent of sex education created strife, controversy and protests. As with many aspects of parenting, sex ed was something else the State usurped from parents.And while the popular spin is that sex education was all about “reinforcing social mores” and being “morally neutral” in reality, many sex ed films were How-To instruction manuals directed at impressionable teens.
In most cases, Sex Education was something pushed on communities by Big Education.
Now, Big Media is rewriting history to make it sound less like the police state decision which parents had no voice in deciding.
This piece demonstrates what Corporate Media does best: rearranging the facts to construct a scenario which did not exist. They do it well because they do it every day, 24/7 365 days a year.
