Obama’s campaign of obstructionism begins with the thwarting of the popular Keystone pipeline – Ahhh, yes; the “popular Keystone pipeline.” Popular with everyone who is not actually involved with it. IF one is a farmer with land to be taken at a third of the market value by eminent domain–well, that farmer must just be a stinking liberal!
A key thing to remember: to be a true battle, there has to be two sides. In the Obama-GOP Congress “battles,” both are playing for the same team.
Since the Keystone is a done deal, all of the supposed “battle over the pipeline” is just so much kabuki. Farmers in its path better just pack up and move.
Oh, and identifying opponents with Barack Obama (or any other highly unpopular public figure) is the Corporate Media’s patented way of discrediting publicly any who disagree with its antichrist notions. At some point in the near future, the idea of “Barack Obama” will be replaced by Jesus Christ as the unpopular figure used. Of course, even in the Age of Lawlessness, the authorities of the beast power won’t actually use the name Jesus Christ. They’ll call true believers “unrepentant sinners” or “hooligans” or some such label.

One suspects it will be a deception on the periphery: one of those “signs of the end times” which aren’t, but which various groups of the deceived will be watching for. Not seeing what they believe will take place–as opposed to what the Bible declares will take place–the deceived will continue to watch for their man-generated “signs” (which will not happen at all or will not happen in the way they’ve been told) while the true biblical events of the end times overtake them.

Oklahoma bill would bar drivers convicted of DUI from buying alcohol – This is the type of bill which appears somewhat reasonable when people first look at it. However, the idea that someone can be punished for life for non-lethal crimes is heading somewhere. The idea of lifetime punishments ALWAYS looks reasonable when it begins. It began by barring felons from buying or owning guns. Next, it progressed by requiring those convicted of sex crimes to register as sex offenders for the rest of their lives.
It goes against the idea of a person paying his “debt to society” and then beginning his life anew.
Since lawmakers NEVER do anything for the “good of their constituents (unless said constituents are extremely wealthy), then there’s another reason for this bill. Now, what can that reason possibly be?
