But no, this reminds one of Edward Bernays, who has been called the “father of propaganda.”

Born 1891 in Vienna to Jewish parents, Bernays was by two branches of his family tree the nephew of psychoanalysis pioneer Sigmund Freud. His mother was Sigmund’s sister Anna and his father was Ely Bernays, brother of Freud’s wife Martha Bernays.

President Franklin Roosevelt, a member of the ultra-wealthy, also married his cousin, Eleanor Roosevelt.

So, while very rare, in some circles it is not so rare. Particularly those committed to preserving certain bloodlines.

SECRET HISTORY: Originally, secret histories were designed as non-fictional, revealing or claiming to reveal the truth behind the “spin”: one such example is the Secret History of the Mongols. Secret histories can range from standard historical revisionism with proper critical reexamination of historical facts to negative historical revisionism wherein facts are deliberately omitted, suppressed or distorted.

1661 – Thomas Venner is hanged, drawn and quartered in London. Venner was the leader of a group of rebels which attempted the overthrow of the English government. By an odd turn of events, Venner’s grand-daughter married the future Archbishop of Canterbury.

1764 – John Wilkes is expelled from the British House of Commons for seditious libel. Wilkes was a relative of future US presidential assassin, John Wilkes Booth. By an odd turn of events, the city of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania–as well as several US counties–were named for Wilkes.

1840 – Captain Charles Wilkes circumnavigates Antarctica, claiming what became known as Wilkes Land for the United States. Captain Wilkes was the great nephew of John Wilkes, who was expelled from the House of Commons 76 years earlier. Although credited with several “firsts”, including the discovery of Antarctica, his behavior led to two convictions by court-martial.

Charles Wilkes was raised by his aunt, Elizabeth Ann Seton, who would later convert to Roman Catholicism and, in an odd turn of events, become the first American-born woman canonized a saint by the Catholic Church.

Some historians speculate that Wilkes’ obsessive behavior and harsh code of shipboard discipline shaped Herman Melville‘s characterization of Captain Ahab in Moby-Dick.

1899 – Anglo-Egyptian Sudan is formed. This was another of the countries formed by the British during their long colonial history.

1920 – The United States Senate votes against joining the League of Nations. However, the USA would later take the lead in promoting one-world government schemes. This would culminate 25 years later with the formation of the United Nations, which would be headquartered in the USA.

1937 – Howard Hughes sets a new air record by flying from Los Angeles to New York City in seven hours, 28 minutes, 25 seconds. Hughes would become another member of the wealthy and connected about which questions were raised over his birth certificate. Hughes thus joined Barack Obama, Jack Nicholson and Walt Disney, to name but a few.

1949 – Cuba recognizes Israel.

1977 – Snow falls in Miami. This is the only time in the history of the city that snow has fallen. It also fell in The Bahamas. Coincidentally, this was during the time period when the Corporate Media was promoting the “New Ice Age” on the cover of TIME and Newsweek magazines (in 1979). Many of the same “scientific experts” who supported the “New Ice Age” also later supported “global warming.”
