The entire idea of “libertarianism” is absurd. It is hypocritical. Libertarians want the government to enforce THEIR preferences and their opinions about liberty.
Heads they win, tails we lose.
IF the government doesn’t back up their desires, well then…it’s a police state.
IF the government DOES back up their desires, well then…it’s LIBERTY!
This will not be the last time libertarians call on the government to enforce THEIR viewpoint with all the lethal power of the state. However, since we’re living in an age of lawlessness, libertarians and their views are being exalted by man. Regardless of their incessant whining to the contrary.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.

For whatever reasons, Kelly has been chosen to be exalted and this is keeping in line with that decision. Every time Megyn Kelly throws common courtesy to the wind, the media will hail her as “uncompromising and tough.” Every time Kelly throws up obscene softball questions to a guest, the media will hail her as “compassionate and humane.”
Apparently, Kelly has been chosen to introduce some particularly noxious breed of antisocial behavior and questioning in the near future. For that (and probably other reasons), she is being lifted up by her compatriots on the Satan’s Mouthpiece team as a “hard-hitting giant” of the industry.
NOTE: the NY Times is supposedly the ideological antithesis of Fox News.

RE: libertarianism.
I had a friend who was really into libertarianism. One feature of this obsession was with the “Freedom Box”. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FreedomBox As I understood it from his description, it was supposed to make you “invisible/ untrackable” to gov’t spying. Aside from its Orwellian doublespeak overtones, I found it disturbing that the ‘solution’ to the problems with our ‘virtual reality utopia’ was not getting rid of electronics, but by becoming ‘untrackable’.
In other words, the gov’t seems to be setting up the ‘problem’ – govt surveillance, so that when people are chipped like animals, the “solution” is to be ‘untrackable’. Instead of just getting rid of electronics all together – because of course, that would be going “backwards”… Libertarians will still insist on people getting chipped (because there’s all these “diseases floating around on money”) – but they will be champions of “freedom” because you will be ‘untrackable’.

They are not offering a cure to tracking; they are offering a government tracking one can “live with.”
Libertarians are all about the appearance of liberty, not liberty itself.
In fact, libertarians are almost universally hostile to Christianity because it impinges upon their claimed freedoms.
Again, it’s all about the libertarians’ “freedoms.”
IF the majority holds a different view, it is out of luck.
Of course, libertarians do have one big advantage: they are amazingly proficient whiners.
