MUCH CONFUSION ON TOPIC
“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”

One topic which invites confusion–much of it, it’s suspected, purposely–is the “synagogue of Satan.”
Jesus felt it was so important that he addressed the topic of the synagogue of Satan twice in the first three chapters of Revelation [Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9].
Across the Internet, there are many websites which claim to provide the reader with “inside information” about the synagogue of Satan. Some of these websites pretend to be Christian in orientation while others pretend to be concerned about “conspiracy theories.”
But mostly, the reader needs to be aware that what these sites do is confuse the issue of “Jews” and “synagogue of Satan.” Before going any further, it’s important to make the declaration: there are no Jews in the synagogue of Satan.
NO JEWS IN THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN
By definition, “Jews” and “synagogue of Satan” are two mutually exclusive groups: one cannot be in one and also be in the other. Where these two groups are concerned, it is an either/or situation: one is EITHER in the synagogue of Satan OR one is a Jew. One cannot be both. It matters not how many pulpits wolves, TV preachers or websites say differently.
But, many authors and websites confuse the two groups. Some even go as far as starting an article referring to the “synagogue of Satan” and then end the article talking of “Jews.” Jesus was clear: IF one is in the synagogue of Satan and says he is a Jews, he is a liar.
“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.“

Why would so many confuse the two groups?
Because the synagogue of Satan is an evil outfit. They bring reproach upon the name of the Jew. In fact, much of the confusion about the two groups is no doubt spread by the synagogue of Satan itself.
By definition, those in the synagogue of Satan ARE NOT Jews. By definition, those two groups are mutually exclusive. IF one is in the synagogue of Satan, one is not a Jew. IF one is a Jew, one cannot belong to the synagogue of Satan.
IF one is a Jew, one could not be in the synagogue of Satan because to be in that group is to “say [you] are [a] Jew, and are not, but do lie.” [Revelation 3:9]
IF you really were a Jew, you could not belong in the synagogue of Satan BECAUSE IF you said “I’m a Jew,” you would not be lying about being a Jew. Therefore, you could not be in the synagogue of Satan and really be a Jew.
The synagogue of Satan is composed of individuals who SAY they are Jews but lie: they are NOT Jews. That comes straight from Jesus Himself.
There is some speculation that the Pharisees were the forerunners of the synagogue of Satan. Not the synagogue itself, but the spiritual leaders of what would later become the synagogue of Satan. However, this is speculation and the Bible is absent on this particular subject.
There were those who claimed to be Jews (because they were Abraham’s seed) in Jesus’s time, but Jesus said they lied.
“I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. “

The confusion of the Jews and the synagogue of Satan: This is an important end times issue because the only people who will be despised, persecuted and hunted as much as true Christians will be the true Jews.
Because the true Jews can NOT be in the synagogue of Satan.
UPDATE: 5-12-2015 – One important point not covered here: there are MANY books, articles and videos claiming to “expose” or “reveal” the synagogue of Satan. Almost universally, they will try to accuse Jews of the evil deeds of the synagogue of Satan. Do not confuse the two: Jews are NOT the synagogue of Satan and the synagogue of Satan does not contain Jews.
