END TIMES JUDGMENTS: Hardening of the Heart

GOD'S JUDGMENTS: Many are expecting God to unleash his judgments on the earth. What are they?
GOD’S JUDGMENTS: Many are expecting God to unleash his judgments on the earth. What are they?

“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
Revelation 9:20-21

  1. idolatry
  2. murders
  3. sorceries
  4. fornication
  5. thefts

America just happens to be ground zero for all five.

And they are all so pervasive, 99 percent don’t acknowledge they are sinning against a Holy God because most don’t even realize it.

The Bible calls this condition a “hardening of the heart.”

The Bible also tells us that a hardening of the heart is a judgment which God employs against the perpetually wicked to ultimately show His glory.

“And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.”
Exodus 14:4

Though the apostate churches assure their pew-sitters that God “doesn’t work like that,” God’s Word declares He will blind the eyes of the lost to prevent them from being converted.  This is one of His judgments against those who have refused to repent.

“And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”
Isaiah 6:9-10

Again, the wolves in the apostate churches insist that “God doesn’t do that.” But they do not know God and don’t know what God will do.

“We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”
1 John 4:6

Blinding the eyes,” “hardening the hearts” and “blinding the minds” are all spiritual conditions which are judgments of God.

“He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”
John 12:40

In apostate America, the two favorite sins of the churches are homosexuality and atheism.

These are two conditions that even the hard of heart can recognize as being anti-God. Because their hearts are hardened and their minds are blind, they cannot see their idolatry or their churches’ covenants with paganism, witchcraft, the occult and other abominations.

The apostates prattle on about 2 Chronicles 7:14, but the truth of the matter is:  God’s people are few and far between in America. He has judged the country and found it wanting.

The rampant apostasy is one sign of judgment.

The utter inability of church-goers to see their sin is another.

The judgment of God is that He blinds the minds of men to their wickedness. That the wolves in the pulpit attribute this blinding of minds to Satan instead of God Almighty confirms their blindness.

“But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
2 Corinthians 3:14,4:4

Satan is NOT the God of this World

The wolves and apostates think they are clever by substituting other gospels and offering another Jesus to the lost. But the true gospel is hidden to the wolves and apostates, that they know it and be saved.

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
2 Corinthians 4:3

One end times judgment is a strong delusion God sends upon the earth to ensure that men will cling to their lies and be damned.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

The Bible does not say when the strong delusion will begin. BUT one could argue that the widespread deception and delusions stubbornly clung to by the apostates are proof that the strong delusion has already begun.

PART ONE: END TIMES JUDGMENTS: What are the Judgments of God?

God employs war, famine and other calamities to judge the world. But He also uses other means. The blinding of eyes and minds and the hardening of the heart is one of these judgments.

  1. I agree. I think the delusion has already been in play for a few years at least. It is the only thing that can account for the lunacy of the developments and how rapidly all “common sense” seems to have been disappearing.
