“And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”
—Isaiah 6:9-10
In both the New and Old Testaments, one of God’s judgments is to give wicked men what they desire: to live in their iniquity and sin.
Men want to live in sin? Fine, God will finally allow them to have their desire. Men want to believe lies? Great, God will not only allow them to, He will send them strong delusion to ensure that they don’t wimp out when stronger judgments appear.
There comes a point when God ceases to try to convince men of their lost condition and gives them completely over to it.
“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
—Romans 1:21-25
END TIMES JUDGMENTS: What are the Judgments of God?
END TIMES JUDGMENTS: Hardening of the Heart
God will particularly allow men to believe falsehood and lies in the end times. Because men do not want the truth, God will send them a strong delusion so that they will believe the end times lies of the dragon.
ALL who are sent the strong delusion (because they did not have a love of the truth) are damned.
“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
—2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
Jesus did so many miracles of God, yet the Scripture says they did not believe on him.
“But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
—John 12:37-38
The crucifixion and death of Jesus also was the fulfillment of Isaiah’s 53rd chapter.
“He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”
—John 12:40
One of God’s end times judgments is to allow men to believe the lies of the wicked.
Strong delusion is coming. Don’t get caught in chasing after lies. The end result is eternal damnation.
Is your calling and election sure?
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;”
—Romans 1:26-28
THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
