END TIMES DECEPTION
The end times deception is getting thicker and more pervasive every day. In fact, some days it’s hard to know where to start: there are so many lies and deceptions, it’s almost overwhelming.
As an example, there is one end time deception that has spread from the newer, corrupted “bibles” to the pulpits to the congregations to the lost: the personification of evil.
But more on that later.
The all-encompassing deception is not going to get any better. The Bible warns that the dragon (Satan) deceives the whole world–and he is doing exactly that.
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:”
—Revelation 12:9
During a recent conversation, it was pointed out that so many people hold clearly contrary views at the same time. This is called “cognitive dissonance” by the narrative-spinners in the psyche community.
It’s deception at work.
For example: Many people know Jesus warned of end times deception. They also believe deception is a heavy and surrounds us. However, they believe that they are not deceived.
PERSONIFYING EVIL
The newer “bible” versions personify evil at almost every opportunity.
A few examples are:
1- Turning the descriptive “antichrist” into THE Antichrist, that end times bad guy the mystery of iniquity wants the masses of deluded counterfeits to concentrate on;
2- Turning “evil” and “wickedness” into “THE evil one.”
The most egregious example is the Lord’s Prayer. After centuries of “deliver us from evil” the apostates discovered that Jesus was REALLY saying “deliver us from THE EVIL ONE.
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
—Matthew 6:13, King James Version
The New King James, the sliest of the dragon’s bible versions, reckons the Lord’s Prayer ends like this:
“And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
The New International Version (NIV) really does a number on Matthew 6:13. It not only turns “evil” into “evil one” but does away with declaring God is the kingdom, power and the glory forever.
“And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.”
Now, “the evil one” was a complete fabrication of the dragon’s “translators.” The original Greek used the word “ponéros,” which is an ADJECTIVE (a word that describes something else). IF it had been “evil one,” the Greek would have used a NOUN (A person, place or thing).
Hurry and check now–before the mystery of iniquity changes the concordances. IF they mutilated the Bible with impunity, the concordances are a mere oversight.
The dragon’s men were a little more clever with 1st and 2nd John (the only two places the word “antichrist” is used in the Bible). They turned “antichrist” into “The Antichrist.” So, both words were nouns, but instead of a general noun, they personified it into one person to better fit their satanic end times design.
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.”
King James Version, 1 John 2:18
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.“
The new versions have changed the general “antichrist” into the person of “THE Antichrist.” (They do not do this in every case however).
This better fits the dragon’s antichrist, apostate fake teachings and his substituting the fables of Left Behind for the real end times teachings of the Bible.
Why the personification of evil? What’s the purpose?
Who but God can know all of the ways of the workers of iniquity, but one big reason: it allows people to escape their responsibility for sin.
Instead of the whole world being in wickedness (to which each human contributes), the newer versions put the whole world in control of THE evil one.
Hey, it’s not my fault. I’m good. The devil did it!
The New King James again for 1 John 5:19.
“We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”
—1 John 5:19, King James Version
See the difference?
Deception is everywhere, but especially in the apostate churches and in the bibles which they use. They use the excuse “Oh, they’re easier to read.”
Maybe the corrupted versions will be available for easy reading in the lake of fire? Of course, those who promote such things don’t believe in the lake of fire.
Sad.
It’s all a part of Satan’s attack on God’s Word.
It’s all a part of deception designed to lead the unwary to perdition.
It’s a sign of the times.
Are you born again?
Is your calling and election sure?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation
THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
