Workers of Iniquity: In an End Times Tight Spot

WORKERS OF INIQUITY: In a tight spot.
WORKERS OF INIQUITY: In a tight spot.

BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE

Pity the poor workers of iniquity.

First, they are deceived.

Actually, they are doubly deceived.  First, they believe they are working for the winning side in the cosmic battle against Jesus Christ and His Father, God Almighty.

Secondly, they believe they are being told the truth by those higher up the food chain. (Even though this hierarchy is led by the father of lies.)

When the end times begin to climax, God’s Word records many wonderful promises of protection from God Himself for the Christian.

“The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.”
2 Samuel 22:3-4

IF it is his purpose to be a martyr, then the Christian has the promise of eternity with God Almighty.

“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”
Revelation 21:7

But the worker of iniquity?

He must depend on the promises of those higher up in the mystery of iniquity. Quite likely, he has already seen promises broken to others.

Or perhaps, to himself.

He knows that the mystery of iniquity is not shy about sacrificing its minions if it furthers its ends.

And if he is sacrificed?

He has no assurances for eternity other than a lake of fire.

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Revelation 20:15

“to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
Mark 9:45-46

It’s not yet too late.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
