KNOWLEDGE: Men have pursued knowledge at the cost of wisdom.
“For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.”
—Ecclesiastes 1:18
“Knowledge is power” is a saying of the world. And it is true: to those who possess knowledge of old ways once known and now forgotten means money and power and fame and fortune and all that the world has to offer.
However, knowledge is not wisdom.
And in going to untrustworthy (demonic) sources for knowledge, men are deceived.
The same men who crave knowledge are the same ones who spurn the wisdom of the Lord.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
—Proverbs 1:7
Knowledge does mean many things to those who have placed their faith in the world and the things of the world. But those who place their faith in the things of this world are deceived.
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
—1 John 2:15
Because they eschew the true wisdom of God Almighty; because they chase after those things they can never possess for more than a instant; because they believe that knowledge without Jesus is power, men will reap grief.
Eternally.
“For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.”
—Ecclesiastes 1:18
Wisdom brings grief because the one who is given wisdom can more clearly see the sad, fallen, corrupt shape of the world due to sin which surround him. This is truly a source of grief.
Knowledge brings sorrow because those who pursue knowledge without God are bound to end up eternally sorrowful at their final destination.
“Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:”
—Proverbs 1:24-29
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
Trump: McCain on Steroids? – Well, McCain was hugely unpopular also before the Corporate Media began its campaign to convince Republicans in 2008 that he was somehow popular enough to be their “nominee.”
A Fading Campaign: Scott Walker’s no-good month – Remember when the media was full of “Scott Walker is a dynamo” stories? Months and months and months until ANY election and the Corporate Media wanted their readers/viewers to believe that Scott Walker was a “no-miss” candidate.
So what has happened to make Scott Walker a “fading” candidate?
Nothing.
This is the other half of the lying Corporate Media’s early campaign scenarios. First, they write lying stories about how a candidate with almost no support has “momentum” and “Wow! They’re hot!”
Then when they write the “fading” or “struggling” story lines, they’re easier to believe because very few ever supported the guy (in this case, Scott Walker) in the first place.
WHO? was sitting at home demanding that Scott Walker get involved in presidential politics?
NO ONE.
And now that very same “no one” is being made more public. So, Scott Walker’s campaign is “fading.”
The Corporate Media is truly Satan’s Mouthpiece.
The same basic formula will be applied to the mystery of iniquity’s most-heavily promoted puppet of the moment: Donald Trump, though one suspects that Trump’s fall will be very full of drama (as befits a candidate which has used pro wrestling’s book of promotion).
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
THE GOSPEL
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
-—1 Corinthians 1:18-19
“And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
—Matthew 10:21-22
TALK A GOOD GAME: “If you talk a good game, it means that when you discuss something you sound sincere (or knowledgeable), but when it comes right down to it, you are not sincere in what you say, or you don’t really know what you’re talking about.”
The end times (like the present) is about the world saying one thing (It’s all about LOVE!), but doing something altogether, completely different.
“For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”
—Mark 13:22
The number of websites which feature a “prophet” or “prophetess” claiming to speak for God is staggering. These websites feature messages which appear to be godly–IF the reader doesn’t look too closely.
Mostly they offer one of two things:
1- They contradict the word of God;
2- They further the end times schemes of the dragon.
“And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.”
—Luke 21:8
The messages these “prophets” are getting right now all seem to be a variation on the theme that “God is love.” God IS love, but He is very much more than that.
Anyone who believes that God is love and only love doesn’t know the God Almighty of the Bible and has fashioned an idol and called it “God.”
“And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.”
—Exodus 32:3-6
When the Israelites fashioned an idol of gold in the shape of a calf, they did not say “Let’s worship this golden calf.”
No they said “These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.”
They worshiped an idol and called it God.
Which is what the churches do now.
Beware of false prophets.
They are in the churches.
They are on the Internet.
They are everywhere.
And they try to lead the unwary astray with their idols.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
—Matthew 24:24
Bringing Down America’s Happiest Christian Cult – Why is it that so many groups promoted by the media as being the ‘public face of Jesus’ turn out being exposed by that very same media as bring reproach to the name of Jesus?
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
What Do Conspiracy Theories Do To Us? – Here’s the dirty, little secret: most of the most popular “conspiracy theories” originate in the government/media.
