2016 Elections: Another Scheme of Man

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.”

Over the last several months, it’s been mentioned  that “After Barack Obama leaves office, things will finally get better” (or words to that effect).

Really?

Remember back to 2008 and ALL of the people who were seemingly in euphoria because of the election of Barack Obama?  The election of Obama was going to herald a new era of “hope” and “change.”

Fast forward a few years and the idle talk (promoted by the mystery of iniquity’s idle talkers among the people) was that perhaps Obama would not leave office after 2016; perhaps he would engineer some sort of shenanigans to illegally stay in office.

Will Obama not leave office in 2016?

What is amusing is this very same worry preceded both the 2004 and 2008 election with “liberals” expressing the exact same doubts about Bush leaving office voluntarily.

Would Bush step down?  Would there be another election?  Ho hum.

Talk like this does a few things.

1- It distracts from the fact that election after election, regardless of who wins, nothing changes.  At least for the better.  At least for the last 30+ years.

2- It focuses people’s attention on elections as a solution for their problems.  It provides false hope in a system that offers none.

3- It gives people a false sense that there is a difference between the two political choices offered them.  Conservatives celebrated the “election” of George W. Bush as the “NOTClinton.”  But Bush and Clinton’s policies were practically indistinguishable.

Ditto for Obama.  His supporters celebrated his election as the NOTBush.  However, any honest person can see that Obama’s policies are nearly identical to Bush’s.

But in a deceived land, elections will continue (as they did in the Soviet Union and other tightly-controlled political systems) until the end.

Elections are schemes of man to give the ordinary people the illusion that they control events.

But they do not.

Anyone who has been paying attention can see there’s been little difference (other than the talking points for the Corporate Media) between figurehead presidents over the last 30 years (and longer).

Elections are schemes of man.

ANYONE who places his faith in the schemes of man to improve his situation is bound to be disappointed.

In the coming years, a man whose coming heralds a “new age” will make his appearance. The masses will be dazzled by the waves of new technology which are unleashed; by the new energy sources available; by the change to a new system from the old, failed system based on faux Christianity.

This period of wonderment will not be without its rough patches (especially if one is a real Christian). But with Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) proclaiming a New Era, it will seem like heaven on earth for a very short while.

Besides, the masses will have placed their faith for their future happiness and well-being completely in the man of sin.

But after 42 months, it will all fall apart.

MAN OF SIN: The Man of Sin is Coming

IF one is looking for the 2016 election to change their station in life, one might be warned to be careful. Did the reader’s life change for the better after the elections of 2008?  How about 2004? 2000?  1992?

Ever?

The election process: every four years, a few selected puppets perform a dance for the masses.

Nothing changes but the faces.

Do not be distracted.

Do not place your faith in the schemes of man.

Disappointment, discouragement and eternal damnation are the rewards of those who do.

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

It’s not too late to place your faith in something that is genuine.

The schemes of man are only for a little while.

Salvation through Jesus Christ is eternal and everlasting.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

THE GOSPEL
