Temporary Spiritual Enthusiasm: Coming to a Church Near You

Counterfeit spirituality is everywhere.

Several months ago, an article appeared entitled The Lessons of Chapel Hill. The article was about another shooting, this time in North Carolina.

The article is what passes for “analysis with a spiritual tint” these days.  The author equates frightened people looking for a quick fix who visited apostate churches shortly after 9/11 with some sort of temporary “spirituality.”

Not too far into the future, there will come another 9/11-like event and people will (in their fear of the unknown) again flock to apostate churches.  This time however, they will stay because 1- the threat will be more severe; 2- the times will be more chaotic; and, 3- There will arise someone there who will make them feel secure and warm inside in their utter apostasy.

MAN OF SIN: The Man of Sin is Coming

Some apostates who pretend they are Christians will especially be drawn to the counterfeit churches. They will particularly like the way they feel “holy” without having to do all of the annoying things required by real Christianity.  They will be able to be a part of a “great church” while at the same time being able to “live their life.”

Other apostates will know exactly who they are worshiping. Though they are just as deceived as the lost, in their ignorance many will cling to their deception until it’s too late.

The people who populate these churches will be stomping their feet and waving their arms and shouting “Amen!”

And the Bible declares they will be worshiping the dragon (Satan).

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Revelation 13:4,8

Don’t be fooled by counterfeit Christianity.

Don’t be fooled by the smiling faces and niceness of counterfeits. Don’t be scammed by the smooth lies of the mystery of iniquity. Don’t be taken in by the deceptions of a higher class of being. Don’t be fooled by those who pretend to have your best interests at heart.

Don’t settle for emotion masquerading as spirituality.

Don’t settle for a temporary high that soon vanishes.

Demand the real deal.

Demand Jesus Christ.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
2 Corinthians 4:3

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
