Six Bible Verses Which Perfectly Sum Up the End Times

END TIMES: Six verses in Malachi which sum up the end times.
END TIMES: Six verses in Malachi which provide a snapshot of the end times.

There exists no better short description of the end times than these six verses from Micah’s 7th chapter.

“The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
Micah 7:2-7

This is the end times in a nutshell.

It describes the times in which we live to a “T.”

It declares:

  • The scarcity of the righteous.
  • The unchecked growth of evil men.
  • The corruption of public officials.
  • The coming judgment of the wicked.
  • The futility of trusting men (even one’s friends or spouse or family).
  • The rock which is faith in the LORD.

ALL in six verses.

There may be some who will argue: “I can trust my family!” or “My wife is a rock. I can ALWAYS rely on her!”

Those who place their faith in such things are deceived. The times are almost upon us which will reveal how little trust can be placed in a people who will be fighting for their lives.

There are those who speak of a “New Age dawning” or “heaven on earth” or “A Golden Age” or “Better living through Science!

All of these are fables created by men to deceive other men.

The End Times

All one has to do is look around.

The times, they are a-changing.

Some recognize it. Some don’t.

A few admit it to themselves. Most don’t.

A small minority cling to their Bibles and their God. The great majority put their faith in guns, gold and groceries.

Many are uneasy and many just want to “live their life.”

I’m just trying to get through this.

A few are troubled by thoughts of “There has to be a better way!” But most console themselves with hundreds of little lies.

“There’s nothing I can do to change things. What can I do? I’m doing the best that I can!”

Is the reader prepared for what is soon to come upon the earth?

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

  1. I started reading the article and was quite confused on the first verse listed because there is not seventh chapter in Malachi. You may want to check your verse I think you meant Micah.
