DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND THE CHURCHES
“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;”
—Acts 17:24
What are the churches if not “temples made with hands“?
However, regardless of what God’s Word says, people continue to cling to their church buildings.
Much has been made about “going to church” for the “fellowship.” In fact, this seems to be one of the main attractions of the social clubs known as the churches.
But what kind of fellowship is offered there?
Some churches offer rituals and practices from witchcraft and the occult.
What does the Bible say about such fellowship?
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

Someone recently made the statement “I feel comfortable at my church. I feel like I fit in there.”
And indeed: many people attach themselves to a church building, not to serve God, but to serve themselves.
“I feel comfortable.”
“I’d be lost without my church.”
“I fit in.”
What did Jesus say about fitting in?
“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.”
—Luke 21:17
The Bible says that in the last days, Satan will have a worldwide church that draws people from “every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.”
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
—Revelation 13:7-8
EVERYONE who dwells on the earth will worship in this church, which LOOKS like Christianity, but is really of the dragon (Satan).
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
—Revelation 13:11
This worldwide church, though it LOOKS like Christianity, will declare war with the few true Christians and attempt to kill them. This church will be partially successful.
“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”
—Revelation 17:6
The churches today are the forerunners of these worldwide, end times churches described in Revelation.
These are only a few of the many differences between Christianity and the end time centers of iniquity known as the churches.
“Enter ye in at the strait [narrow] gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
—Matthew 7:13-14
So many of the churches are concerned with worldly pursuits: money, eating, drinking, the praise of men. Now the reader knows why.
The Church of Jesus Christ or the worldly churches: make your choice.
They are not the same thing.
“Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,”
—Acts 7:48
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation
THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
