“Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:”
—1 Timothy 6:20
Science is claimed to be “what is known” or “what can be known.”
Middle English (denoting knowledge): from Old French, science, from Latin scientia, from scire ‘know.’
In short, science is claimed to be knowledge itself.
Considering the long history of scientific scandals, hoaxes and fake facts, this is quite the arrogant and untrue boast.

In fact, science is wrong so often, it’s difficult to see why so many place their faith in this ancient, pagan religion.
And science boasts of its mistakes, this being trumpeted as somehow “proof” that ‘science works.’
AS IF science has relinquished its wrong-headed nonsense of the past cheerfully and in the ‘spirit of science.’ Instead, nearly every mistake, every obvious error, every hoax, every fraud has been tenaciously clung to (and fought for) by the scientific authorities of the day.
Nowhere was the science quite so settled as “bloodletting“: the practice of bleeding out patients in the hopes of curing them. Over the centuries which this scientific notion held sway, it is unrecorded how many thousands died in the name of ‘science.’
[Bloodletting] is claimed to have been the most common medical practice performed by surgeons from antiquity until the late 19th century, a span of almost 2,000 years.
Science is nothing more than the rebranding of the discredited, age-old pagan religion of gnosticism.
from Ancient Greek: γνωστικός gnostikos, “having knowledge”, from γνῶσις gnōsis, knowledge
Both gnosticism and science promise their believers a key to better living through superior knowledge. Both divide the world into their privileged followers (who have this revealed knowledge) and the rest of humanity (the ignorant, the stupid, the profane).
Both offer a set of stories which claim to explain the world around them. Both are all about ‘knowledge’: but it is a false knowledge masquerading as ‘the truth.’
Both challenge the Bible at every turn, because both are pagan religions claiming to offer their adherents the ‘truth.’
In fact, both are basically the same religion. “Science” is “gnosticism” rebranded: prettied up as an “objective” look at reality; i.e., the ‘truth.’
But the truth is unchanging; the stories of science are a constantly changing set of fables crafted to fit the latest fashion. What science teaches as the ‘truth‘ today regularly turns out to later be a steaming mess of nonsense.
People want answers.
It matters little if the answers are correct or not, as long as it satisfies their momentary curiosity and doesn’t immediately insult their intelligence. They don’t care if the answers come from a witch doctor, a shaman or a scientist; as long as they have a set of answers that explain the world around them, people are happy.
Science provides that set of answers.
Scientists are little more than witch doctors in lab coats. But ‘modern’ man no longer has faith in witch doctors. ‘Modern’ man has replaced witch doctors with scientists.
Science is a pagan religion.
There’s no other explanation for people putting their faith in ‘climate change’ (a story about the weather years in the future) which comes from the same people who cannot predict the weather in Peoria three days from now.
They place their faith in such stories even though science is a very old pagan religion, modernized and rebranded for today’s population looking for answers. To believe their stories requires faith, though science tries its best to hide this from the masses. However, people want answers.
Science is a pagan religion: ancient, overbearing and deceptive. As such, it exists to challenge the Bible (because the Bible offers immutable truth and predicted the rise of science) and to deceive men about what is to occur during the last days.
“But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.”
—1 Timothy 4:7
The Bible says science triumphs for a season: men in the end times will fall for such deceptions. These deceptions will lead them to eternal destruction.
These deceptions will deceive the ‘whole world.’
“that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world”
Truth never changes.
Don’t buy into an ever-changing set of stories.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
