“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”

The Bible paints a vivid picture of the reaping of the wicked at Armageddon, on the Day of the Lord. This picture is painted throughout both the Old and New Testaments, especially in Joel and Revelation.
After centuries of warnings; after centuries of commands going unheeded; after centuries of waiting: Jesus returns to earth to judge mankind.
And when He returns, He will find a world of mockers, who scoffed at the notion that God judges the wicked;
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
—2 Peter 3:3-4
“How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.”
—Jude 1:18
All on earth will be aware of the day of the Lord: it will be a time of unusual, eerie lighting of the sky.
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.”
—Zechariah 14:6-7
The wicked and lost can look forward to a time of eternal judgment. Here’s a summary of that long-awaited day of judgment at the time the Great Judge returns to earth.
“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”
—Isaiah 13:9-11
It is a time for the reaping of souls.
“Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.”
—Joel 12-13
“And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs [two hundred miles].”

“Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.”
—Psalm 96:13
“He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.”
—Psalm 110:6
“And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
—Micah 4:3
“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”

99.9 percent will put off salvation until it is too late. Be one of the ‘few’ who gain eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Will the reader be prepared for the return of Jesus?
Or, will that day overtake him as a thief in the night?
