We know there is idol worship in the end times: the Bible declares it to be so.

And this will not be some sort of “symbolic idolatry“: God’s Word refers to the idols which are made of “gold and silver.”

“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:”
–Revelation 9:20

“And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;”
–Isaiah 2:19-20

“For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.”
–Isaiah 31:7

“Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.”
–Isaiah 30:22

These idols ALREADY EXIST in the public spaces of the USA.

If the reader looks around him, he will see idols are everywhere. These images and idols are specifically condemned and forbidden by God’s Word.

This is especially true in the United States of America where such images are widespread and common.

Many are set up by the government; by the civil authorities using public money and public land. Many are in parks or in front of courthouses,state houses and public spaces throughout the USA.

Washington DC, the capital city of the USA, has so many of these images that one can walk to at least a dozen or more within an hour.

These idols are such a normal part of everyday life in the USA that people pass them by daily and are completely comfortable with that which is forbidden by God’s Word.

IN FACT, many Americans will argue and defend these images and idols, seeing nothing wrong with them and begging others to “Be reasonable.”

And that is the end times deception: these images, which are forbidden, have become so common most people believe them to be acceptable.

Men will not find these idols unacceptable until the terror of the day of the Lord overtakes them. On that day men will realize there really is a power higher than man; there really is a coming judgment.

Just because the reader is familiar and comfortable with these images DOES NOT mean that they are somehow acceptable. They are still idols according to God’s Word.

IF the reader does not agree, he will have to take it up with God.

      “Ye shall make you no idols, neither shall ye rear you up a graven image, or a pillar…”-Leviticus 26:1

Some of these well-known, revered images are of pagan gods and goddesses. The Bible declares that every pagan god or goddess is a devil [demon] and behind every idol is a demon.

To recap, the Bible forbids the following:

Images: graven images, carved images, molten images, images of things which are in the earth, images of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth, pillars of stone, standing images, images of males or females; images of humans, beasts, birds, fish.

The Bible forbids ALL of the above.

And they are everywhere in the land.

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
–2 Corinthians 6:17-18

There is yet still time to change directions [repent].

There’s still time to turn away, know God, know Jesus, know peace and enjoy the benefits of eternal life.
