CHURCH-GOERS DO NOT BELIEVE

DemonThere are many verses in the Bible warning of devils (demons), evil spirits and unclean spirits: all are the same entities.

In the times in which we live, we find ourselves in exactly the position God’s Word foretold: surrounded by those who worship devils and access illegitimate supernatural power.

“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils”
–Revelation 9:20

The Normalizing of Illegitimate Supernatural Power in the End Times

Those who pay little attention to such things; i.e., most Americans, might find this hard to believe. After all, they’ve been indoctrinated since childhood by the world (an enemy of God) that witches, sorcerers, and demons do not exist.

IF asked, most church-goers will insist that they believe the Word of God. But if asked if witches, sorcerers and demons exist, many will say “no.”

IN FACT, a majority of pew-sitters who call themselves “Christians” do not even believe in Satan.

This is not surprising: most of those who inhabit the weak, apostate churches do not believe the Bible is God’s Word. IF they don’t believe the Bible, how can one expect them to believe what the Bible declares?

END TIMES CHURCH-GOERS WORSHIP SATAN

DemonBecause they do not believe the Bible, those frequenting the rebellious churches will believe anything. Perhaps this is the reason the Bible says they the whole earth will worship Satan?

“And they worshipped the dragon [Satan] which gave power unto the beast…And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,8

The dragon [Satan] and his man of sin will be given power over the saints for three-and-one-half years (forty-two months). He will have this power over all of the nations and and peoples of the whole earth.

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
–Revelation 13:7

The Bible declares that end times man will worship in a system which LOOKS like Christianity, but speaks like the dragon [Satan].

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
–Revelation 13:13

Many church-goers may find this hard to believe. Just as they find it hard to believe that the churches are full of deceiving and counterfeit spirits. Just as they find it hard to believe the Bible is God’s Word.

But then, because they do not believe the Bible, they have to depend upon themselves to discern the truth.

“He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool”
–Proverbs 28:26

OTHER NAMES FOR DEMONIC POWER

DemonOne of the reasons end times mankind will worship devils (demons) is because pagan gods (demons) and the demonic are part of the everyday life of the end times.

“But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God”
–1 Corinthians 10:20

End times man is so comfortable with demonic power because he sees it every day and is surrounded by it. End times man is deceived: he believes demonic power is something else.

He believes demonic power is something else because he has been taught it is something else.

End times man has been taught demons and demonic power are something else because, even though end times man is rebellious, deceived and depraved, there are still many who have a bad feeling about “demons.”

Illegitimate supernatural (demonic) power has ALWAYS been very seductive to groups who traditionally have felt powerless. This is a primary reason why witchcraft has held such allure for teen-age girls.

Whether it’s called “The Force” or a familiar spirit or “unleashing the power within” or a demon or “getting in touch with the divinity that is within you” or a spirit guide or a devil or serpent power or superpowers or “speaking with an Ascended Master” or witchcraft or tapping into the goddess or sorcery or connecting with earth power or a spirit animal or magic, it’s all the same thing: illegitimate supernatural (demonic) power.
SUPERPOWERS: Superpowers in the End Times

So as a service, here are many (not all) of the names men use for demons (devils) and illegitimate supernatural power.

NOTES:

1- The following 290 terms comprise a varied and sundry list.

  • Some of the terms are pagan religions, which worship or call upon demons; or which access demonic power under a different name; or which worship idols or pagan gods and/or goddesses.
  • Some as aspects of these pagan religions or gods (demons) or rituals.
  • Some are ‘ancient gods’ (demons).
  • Some are cover stories used to explain demonic power.
  • Some are demons rebranded: i.e., under a name change which is “kinder and gentler” and more acceptable to the public. Most often, this is done for public relations purposes.
  • Some have “scientific-sounding” names. But many times, their name or origins are rooted in religious practices which involve some aspect of the demonic.
  • Some are objects which supposedly stimulate powers or contacts which are demonic in origin.
  • Some are objects used in various rituals for contacting the demonic or summoning demons.
  • Some are methods of contacting demonic power in some way, shape or form.
  • Some are healing or medicinal methods or theories which depend on illegitimate supernatural power. Many of these practices naturally employ cover stories to explain any healing (temporary or permanent) which may occur.
  • Almost all terms which refer to the “psyche“–itself a term originally referring to “soul“–have  demonic components. A few (such as “intuition“) may have legitimate facets. Most of the time, these legitimate uses have other names.
  • Some are methods of divination, which the Bible declares is a channel for demonic power.
  • Some are upfront about their purpose or origin.
  • Some are other names for demons and/or the demonic.

2-No doubt the reader may be unaware of some of the terms’ origins or demonic relationships. Therefore, links to articles explaining the connection, history and/or significance are provided.

3- Many of those who are involved or use the labels below might well vehemently protest the contention of demonic contact.

This is completely understandable: the reason such labels are used is to hide involvement with these forces. This does not preclude that there may be some practitioners who really are deceived and who believe this power comes from somewhere else.

For instance, there may be some who practice to enhance their water-witching or psychic abilities. They may really believe that this power comes from the earth, or their mind, or within, or any of the other cover stories which are used.

There is no power within or in one’s mind: there IS demonic power and once a link is established, that power can (and is) accessed.

4- Some practitioners of various demonic practices who pretend to be Christians attempt to defend their superstitions by “But it works!”

They would be correct: it does work. Demonic power is real and it does work. But it is an abomination to God, NOT because it doesn’t work, but because it does.

5- ALL who accesses illegitimate supernatural power are an abomination to God. It doesn’t matter if the person knows the source of this power or if the person claims he was deceived: it is still an abomination.

“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”
–Deuteronomy 18:10-12

6- This is a far from complete listing. This list may be occasionally expanded or an entirely new list compiled.

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
John 20:31

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
