The publication from which it originates (The Huffington Post) achieved some degree of infamy when it almost completely ignored the obvious in the John Edwards Love Child Scandal of 2007-08.

The publication also completely blacked out all news of the affair for almost 10 months, as well as attacking any who DID do work on the affair.

It may or may not be doing that this time round: readers will have to judge its future actions based on its past performance.

Which is always tricky when dealing with Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media).

It could be that the HuffPo is absolutely right this time around and the National Enquirer is absolutely wrong: that would be a complete reversal of what happened eight years ago.

Of course, it could happen.

Twilight of the Superheroes – Packed to the brim with meaty, chunky narratives.

IF there were truth-in-labeling laws for the Corporate Media, this article would demonstrate more narratives per pound than almost any other.

The increasing darkness of Superman, Batman, and their brethren are indicators of the American public’s anxiety.

It does contain a glimmer or two of the truth.

For the characters on the screen as well as for the people in the seats, being a superhero has become the norm.

It is true: the media, entertainment and culture is pushing everyone to accept the lie that they have super powers. This is an introduction to being comfortable with demonic power.

SUPERPOWERS: Superpowers in the End Times

The award for best set-up for a completely fraudulent answer goes to the following.

Whereas other hybridized superhero stories, like the pseudo-heist film Ant Man (2015), or the gritty noir Jessica Jones (2015), have contrived to settle their protagonists into an ethical grey area, Suicide Squad eliminates all pretense and contrivance. Its grey area is more tar pit. And its arrival represents the uncovering of the harsh truth at the core of the superhero mythos.

The “harsh truth at the core of the superhero mythos” is the same as the cravings of witchcraft or the desire behind illegitimate supernatural power: a hunger for power and control.

Regardless of whatever words are spoken to the contrary.

Coach K apologizes for lying in postgame news conference – This headline itself is a bold-faced lie.

The Duke coach, Mike Krzyzewski, lied, was caught, confronted with irrefutable evidence of his behavior and his subsequent lie and then issued the following, which is certainly NO APOLOGY.

“It is not my place to talk to another team’s player and doing so took the focus away from the terrific game that Dillon played. I reacted inappropriately to a reporter’s question about my comment to Dillon.”

At no time did Krzyzewski express remorse for ANY of his actions. Krzyzewski DIDN’T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE LYING, so it would be tough to apologize for it.

“I reacted inappropriately…”

“I made a poor choice….”

“I responded negatively.”

(OR the most insincere of all non-apologies: “I’m sorry you feel bad.”)

This is what passes for apologies in the I’m-a-law-unto-myself times in which we live.

It’s little wonder the “selfie” is the pinnacle of modern art in our self-compulsive civilization.

Hoffer was a forerunner for the SELF Society of our present time.

Hoffer argued that fanatical and extremist cultural movements, whether religious or political, arose under predictable circumstances: when large numbers of people come to believe that their individual lives are worthless and ruined, that the modern world is irreparably corrupt, and that hope lies only in joining a larger group that demands radical changes. Hoffer believed that self-esteem and a sense of satisfaction with one’s life was of central importance to psychological well-being.
