NEW BOSS, SAME AS THE OLD BOSS
“And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you”
–Mark 13:5
What’s the greatest lie the Internet and its supporters tell about itself?
The greatest lie of the Internet was that it would be somehow different than what came before it.
If one stopped and thought for just a moment: How could this be?
The Internet was begun and financed by the same interests which were so hated for totally corrupting the more traditional media of print, radio and television.
The New Media is a fraud and always has been. It’s all just one more way to manipulate the people who use it to obtain information.
The Internet was a marketing job; an adventure in creative lying; a re-branding. In much the same way that a new body fills the Oval Office every 4 or 8 years and is supposedly better or different than the old body, so the Internet was sold as a different way–a BETTER way!–to access information.
Just as elections are regular exercises in uninformed, unsupported hope, so the Internet’s promises have proved to be a collection of mostly-empty promises.
That the Internet would somehow be better than the powers behind it is the biggest lie told concerning it.

THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
“Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.”
–Proverbs 26:12
