“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
“Survival of the Fittest!”
It’s ironic that those who trust in their own strength, skill and resources will be the very ones who fall by the wayside in the end times.
“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
Many know something is not right–but they make the wrong choice on how to prepare for that which makes them uneasy.
Much has been written concerning survival in the end times. Practically all which has been written is based on the knowledge of man. This survival knowledge falls under the headings of “survivalist” or “prepping.”
Such knowledge is prized by men and is very popular. A lot of it is busy work which occupies the mind; a lot of it has to do with making lists of things to buy, store or build.
Those who depend on such knowledge are destined to fail.
“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.”
This is particularly true in the end times.
God not only advises to trust in Him: to those who do not and place their trust in man, He curses.
“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”
Do not be deceived: there are no physical preparations one can make for what is coming to pass.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
The end times are a testing ground for mankind. It is a time of separating those who talk the talk from those who walk the walk. It is a time for determining, once and for all, those who place their trust in God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ.
And those who do not.
“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin”
The end times will be a time of choosing the slogans of men and other spirits.
“Survival of the Fittest!”
Or choosing the Word of God.
“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”
God’s Word explains it for those who believe they know better than God.
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.”
Those who are really serious about end times survival would do well to change direction (repent) and place their trust in the LORD and His Anointed, Jesus Christ.
Those who do, will survive into eternity.
Those who choose otherwise, will fail.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.”
