End Times Deception: Do Not Trust What You See

x-ray specs: Don't trust your senses in the end times.

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes”
–Proverbs 12:15

A long-standing campaign has been waged by Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) to convince the reader that he should trust what he sees.

And not only trust, but honor what he perceives through his senses as the “truth.” In this respect, whatever is perceived through the senses achieves a higher regard than even the Word of God.

Some of the parts of this decades-long effort include the following (which are repeated over and over and over–like a form of hypnosis–until the reader actually believes it).

  1. Seeing is believing.
  2. “You can’t make this stuff up!”
  3. “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
  4. “Truth is stranger than fiction.”

Despite this long-running campaign (and the constant repetition of its elements), the reader KNOWS that these are basically untrue (lies).

DON’T BE FOOLED!

x-ray specs: Don't trust your senses in the end times.

1- “Seeing is believing.

Even pagans know this is untrue.

Did the reader see Star Wars?

The reader then saw space cruisers, light sabers, planets exploding and astounding imagery. Yet, the reader knows these images to be manufactured: fake, phony, counterfeits: images created for entertainment.

So seeing is not really believing.

The reader is reassured that this manufacture of false images only happens during entertainment.  The Corporate Media would NEVER tamper with the “news” or other images the reader sees. The government would NEVER create false images to hide improprieties.

Most people know you can ALWAYS believe the government and the media.

Seeing is believing” is how the reader is convinced whatever images he sees on TV, his computer or smartphone is the TRUTH, the whole TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH.

The world sometimes justifies this attitude of “seeing is believing” by citing the UNBELIEF of Doubting Thomas over the news that Jesus Christ has risen.

“The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
–John 20:25

Jesus later addressed Thomas’ unbelief and skepticism.

“And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
–John 20:26-29

Jesus remarked on Thomas using his sight to validate what he should have known by faith and the Word of God.

2- “You can’t make this stuff up!”

Yes, you can.

And they do.

Every day.

3- “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

This motto is based on the belief that seeing something is so much more convincing than having it described, either in print or listening to it.

But the reader knows MANY instances (particularly from the advertising world) where the pictures provided of products are misleading. This is especially true of food products sold by fast food outlets.

4- “Truth is stranger than fiction.”

Not true.

The strangest fiction is that which is claimed to be the truth.

Every day, stories are written which are claimed to be the TRUTH! Later, these stories are admitted to be NOT THE TRUTH. Usually, new improved stories are provided (the latest version of the “truth”) at the same time its admitted that the earlier stories were false.

This is particularly true of medicine and science, where the “latest version of the truth” is said to be due to the latest “research.”

Science: A Collection of Stories

Though some in the scientific community attempt to deflect criticism by insisting science is not the truth or doesn’t claim to be the truth, science demands (and receives) authority from the world AS IF it is.

Far-reaching proposals in governments around the world are instituted and justified by the “truth” of science.

Which many times, turns out to be anything but the truth.

WHY IT MATTERS

x-ray specs: Don't trust your senses in the end times.

What’s the reason for this years-long campaign to convince men they should always trust in their own senses?

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
–Matthew 24:24

In the end times, miracles, signs and “lying wonders” will be used to deceive mankind. Deceivers will point to “experts,” “great men,” “giants in the field”: learned men and ask the masses to trust what they say.

They will use history, science, medicine and the churches as sources of authority.

But more importantly, the deceivers will ask those being deceived whether they will trust in what they see OR the Word of God (which they have missed no opportunity disparaging over the years)?

” Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”
–2Thessalonians 2:9

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do”
–Revelation 13:13-14

These counterfeit miracles, deceiving signs and lying wonders will be offered as “proof” that the man of sin is really a god. The onlooker will be asked to believe what he sees.

The Bible has warned for centuries to beware when these things take place.

But few believe the Bible and so, they will be not only deceived, but damned.

“He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool”
–Proverbs 28:26

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
–Proverbs 3:5

Deception is ubiquitous and surrounds today’s existence–especially for those living in the United States.

EVEN GREATER deceptions are about to unfold.

But though men have been warned of these deceptions for centuries, men will still trust what they see and be deceived.

“that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world
–Revelation 12:9

Will the reader be one of the few who clings to the truth; the ONLY truth?

“thy word is truth.”
–John 17:17

Or will the reader be one of the many who trust in what he sees; who finds comfort in the blind, mindless herd instinct of safety in numbers? Who perishes with the multitudes because of their unbelief?

There’s still time to go against the grain and come to the truth.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
–2Corinthians 4:3

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
-—1 Corinthians 1:18-19
