David Wilkerson, False Prophet

DAVID WILKERSON – David Wilkerson was a popular preacher much exalted by this world. However, Wilkerson made a LOT of false prophecies.

A LOT.

Some of these bad, bad predictions have been lately dusted off and recirculated by various deceitful workers (and also by the clueless).

In particular, some of Wilkerson’s failed predictions, which he gave specific dates for (many in the 1990s), are being circulated as if they were made yesterday. Some of these predictions are on their third or fourth go-around, each time being promoted AS IF they something fresh, exciting and from God Almighty.

They are not.

Among some of Wilkerson’s more egregious false predictions:

• No more gospel TV by 1999.
• 1,000 Fires burning in NY, Race Riots, Federal Troops, Tanks in the streets, churches closed, by 1993
• Financial Crash by 2000

OF COURSE, when these false prophecies get pass around on the Internet, it’s not being written that Wilkerson said the events of which he spoke (and of which he said God or “the Spirit” told him) would take place DECADES ago.

Wilkerson not only made very SPECIFIC (as to date) predictions, he made quite a few of them. Wilkerson (who was easier to listen to than many false prophets) completely fits the biblical definition of a false prophet.

“When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”
–Deuteronomy 18:22

Wilkerson died in 2011 in an automobile accident. Someone pointed out that there are no instances in the Bible of a man of God dying by accident.

That is correct.
