But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

For some time there’s been a move afoot in those pagan temples called the churches to sensationalize very public, very promoted, very advertised prayer.
It’s a sign of the end times: these prayer cults offer their much-publicized spectacles instead of preaching the gospel. It’s just one more not-so-clever substitute gospel.
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

Led by an outfit called The International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), this movement turns the act of praying from what is supposed to be communication to God into an idol to be glorified and worshiped for the act itself.
24-hour around-the-clock praying festivals, “prayer centers” offering days-long continuous praying and prayer marathons focusing on praying for unbiblical goals (often times directly opposed to the Word of God) put the focus on the creature, not the Creator.
“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.”
–Romans 1:25
Anyone who has spent much time studying IHOPKC is forced to the conclusion: it is a counterfeit Christian organization.
And so are its many step-children spread across the USA and elsewhere. They LOOK good–IF one doesn’t look too closely. Many of these groups mix rituals and practices of witchcraft in with their “prayer.”
PRAYER CIRCLES: Another Pagan Practice in the Churches
Concentrating on the things of this world, IHOPKC is a dominionist fraud. That is: they claim the churches have to conquer the earth before Jesus returns. They also talk about “cleansing” the earth.
Their cleansing involves the true believers of Jesus Christ.

The Bible records a church which does do these very things in the end times: the church of the dragon (Satan).
One topic on which the prayer cults continuously chatter: an end times revival about which the Bible is completely silent. The only end times “revival” is the one many of these folks are really looking for: a dark revival of Satan.

One way for readers to tell the counterfeits pretending to be Christians: the workers of iniquity CONSTANTLY preach of a great end times spiritual ‘revival.’

Turning prayer into a public, around-the-clock telethon-like event, IHOPKC has spread its antichrist tentacles across the country. Many of the pagan temples are now IHOP affiliates, either openly or secretly. Many others are IHOPKC imitators.

In the end times, the whole earth will worship Satan. The prayer cults are just one more piece of antichrist the world has to endure in the days before Jesus comes back.
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”
–Matthew 23:27-28
Do not fall prey to pretty-sounding words.
Do not listen to those who smile while lying.
Repent and join the kingdom of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
