This Life is a Test: It is Only a Test

“Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”
–James 1:2-3

Life is one big test.

For some, it’s a short test; perhaps, it will be over before adulthood. For others, it may be a test as long as 40-, 50- or 60-years long.

For a few, the test can be even longer.

This life, this great test, only determines where each person is to spend eternity.

“Who by God’s power are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer various trials”
–1Peter 1:5-6

Many get caught up in this world and the things of this world as if these temporary playthings (money, houses, cars, etc.) are all that there is.

They are nothing.

Many concentrate on this present life, this present place of toil and sorrows AS IF it were the whole sum.

It is not.

Many are arrogant and question God’s intentions AS IF what happens in this present life is all that there is.

It is not.

Many look to charlatans and liars to help them prepare for this test.

They need only look to Jesus Christ.

This life is a test; it is only a test.

A test to see where each man or woman spends his or her eternity.

The good news: ALL who place their faith in Jesus Christ will score 100 percent on this test.

How will the reader do on his test?

“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you”

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
