“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”

FINAL JUDGMENT

There will be a final judgment.

Every human who has ever lived will be called to give an account of their actions.

Much as modern man twists and turns and squirms and attempts to deny it: there will be a judgment.

At this final judgment, the Creator of all will judge man, not as man sees fit or by the rules man has made during his time on earth, but by the rules laid down by the Creator in his Word, the Bible.

All judgments will be final.

All decisions will be final.

All judgments will be eternal in nature.

There will be no appeals. There will be no do-overs.

And all of man’s attempts to twist God’s Word to mean something else; all of man’s puny reasoning; all of man’s lowly attempts to substitute the deceits of the demonic, will avail man NOTHING at that final judgment.

The reader can either prepare himself using the Word of God OR he can deceive himself using the words of men.

It’s a choice EVERY human must make.

And EVERY human will abide by the eternal consequences of his decision.

Whether he chooses to believe or deny it or not.

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
–Revelation 20:15

THE ONLY PLACE OF PEACE FOR THE BELIEVER

FOR WHOM/WHAT SHOULD BELIEVERS PRAY?

“Pray without ceasing.”
–1Thessalonians 5:17

Believers are to pray without ceasing (always be praying). But for whom are they to pray? One’s self and one’s loved ones are prayers which come easily to most.

But who to pray for next?

Here’s a list of 10 prayers believers are to pray. Most are for people, others are for specific things written in God’s Word.

1- Pray for all men.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men”
–1Timothy 2:1

2- Pray for the lost. This is one prayer men may be sure of praying with the will of God.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
–2Peter 3:9

3- Pray for rulers and ALL in authority.

“For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”
–1Timothy 2:2

4- Pray for all the saints.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
–Ephesians 6:18

5- Pray for those who despitefully use you.

“Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.”
–Luke 6:28

6- Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. By praying so, one prays for the return of Jesus Christ.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”
–Psalm 122:6

7- Pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Again, by praying so, one prays for the return of Jesus Christ.

“After this manner therefore pray ye…Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
–Matthew 6:9-10

8- Pray for other believers.

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
–James 5:16

9- Pray that the Word of God and the gospel be delivered effectively.

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you”
–2Thessalonians 3:1

10- Pray that believers may be delivered from evil and unreasonable men.

“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.”
–2Thessalonians 3:2

Most importantly: pray without ceasing.

BONUS PRAYER

Pray for wisdom.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
–James 1:5
