A great many Corporate Media authors confuse such terms as “religious” and “spiritual” with “Christian.”
OF COURSE, they are NOT the same things.
But the world labors without ceasing to convince the unwary that spiritual and/or religious = Godly.
And so, in this way, those who are super spiritual, meditating, end times superheroes; those who access demonic power; witches, idol-worshiping “holy men,” sorcerers; many who dress in “old-style” clothing, wizards, those who cling to quaint pagan folkways; those who have familiar spirits; those lost deceived souls who show up regularly at the apostate buildings we call churches; faith healers, voodoo priestesses, shamen and devil worshipers are ALL viewed as spiritual and/or religious.
Of course the world encourages the masses to believe these enemies of God are the same as Christianity.
In the times and place in which we live, a GREAT, GREAT MANY have been called “spiritual” because they have placed their faith in evil, unclean or familiar spirits.
“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
–Revelation 18:1-2
A great majority of the enemies of Jesus Christ are VERY spiritual. A great many agents of the enemies of God Almighty are VERY religious.
“And they worshipped the dragon [Satan] which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,7-8
The end times will be intensely religious and intensely spiritual even as the world intensely persecutes and murders true Christians.

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
