One of the terms used to make people sound “spiritual” is “HIGHER POWER.”
Many people use this phrase instead of “God.”
“Higher power” is what many say to imply they are highly spiritual or spiritual in a way that is very open-minded. But the term is deceptive.
Why?
It’s a phrase which is in the Bible one time–and there it is referring to man, not God. Specifically, it is referencing the power structures of man which God sets up to ensure order in the world.
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”

So NOWHERE in the Bible does the term “higher power” refer to God Himself.
A great many in the churches use this power to disguise their true allegiances.
One of the most famous references to a “higher power” is in Alcoholics Anonymous–which is no surprise if one considers the founder of AA was heavily into the occult. Many assume “higher power” is referring to God Almighty, but the evidence is clear that it is not.
Actually, “higher power” can pretty much mean anything both the user and the reader want it to mean. And the two don’t have to agree.
“Higher power” can therefore refer to practically anything supernatural: angel, Satan or the demonic. The person using the term lets the hearer assume the speaker is using it to reference God Almighty–or not, depending on the hearer’s worldview.
In some cases, the speaker may even think he is referring to God Almighty when he says “higher power“–though if he was really very concerned, he would simply say “God Almighty.”
Another equally muddy term is “my god,” as in “I thanked my god for my great fortune.” There is no fortune, as everything is in the hand of God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth.
“Higher power” is an even more nebulous, murky term than “god.” Like the phrase “higher power,” many will use “god” to mean whatever the listener assumes it means.
Which is one reason so many politicians will often speak of “god.”
The USA’s founders were fond of using the occult term “Divine Providence“–which is also NOWHERE to be found in the Bible. Rarely did the founders speak the name of Jesus Christ in their private letters–except in condemnation or ridicule.
“Jesus Christ” is a name which is rarely spoken publicly in the World Most Christian Nation Ever!™
And those politicians who DO reference Jesus only do so when the occasion forces them to (such as a National Prayer Breakfast or other such public event).
“Higher power” is a very undefined, undetermined term which makes the user sound spiritual, perhaps even thoughtful. However, like most everything else in the end times, it is most often employed as a term of deception.
The reader should be aware that the “higher power” the user is referring to is most probably a different one than the reader had in mind.
Let the reader beware!

The technological mean to an Alternate Reality started with radio, then TV, computers, game consoles, handheld phones and tablets. The wearable computer goggles (Google’s Glass) are the latest–not the last. There was also research done in the 1980s which stimulated the brain using magnetic forces.
The endgame of that research was announced to be one of created alternate realities.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”

Though man has been warned for thousands of year by a book most no longer believe, deception flourishes.
Though currently, false created realities have been a daily deception, mankind has been quickly led even deeper down this rabbit hole during the end times. Alternate reality is the penultimate deception: one does not see the world as it exists, but one sees what one is told or presented as existing.
One example: A man may turn on his TV, see a realistic movie of a warehouse being blown up, not know it’s a movie and believe it really happened. Is this so different from being shown pictures and videos on TV or smartphones and being told “This is what happened”?
This deception and manipulation of reality makes for easier control of populations while making it almost impossible for the deceived person to arrive at solutions.
IF one doesn’t know the real problem, it’s highly unlikely one can find the solution.
It might be imagined that brain implants would be the ULTIMATE in alternate realities. But, one suspects that the supernatural demonic to be the ultimate–and that phenomena has increased at an alarming rate. Especially in the places to which one would normally look for relief: the churches.
This is one reason for the constant media drone about “superpowers.”
At every step of along the curve of Technological Alternate Reality, church-goers have compromised, promising themselves that they will “manage” this latest innovation and not continue on to the next.
But that seems to be one of the little lies humans tell themselves and so the next “improvement” comes along and like lemmings, church-goers also line up with the rest of the world to get in on the fun.
So, it comes as no surprise that there would be compromise in other areas of alternate reality.
Exchanging the word of God for “the experience” has become the norm in many places. In fact, this writer knows of one such “church” which is named just that: “The Experience.”
The Bible says that drug-induced sorcery will be soon be more commonplace than it is already today. But the fact is: drugs are only a gateway. Once one is in contact with the supernatural, drugs are no longer necessary.
Actually, as a sign of the times in which we live, drugs are being bypassed altogether in some cases.
Who needs drugs when one can tap into the power of the the experience?
And it’s a supernatural experience which is being pursued–albeit, an experience many times dressed in the clothes of Jesus Christ.

MARK AND NAME OF GOD?
While signs and symbols may not rule the world, they are everywhere around us and will play an important part in the end times. They are part of the advertising one sees. They are part of the logos of the world’s most powerful companies. They are incorporated into the designs of many everyday products and decorations.
One symbol or sign in particular will be VERY IMPORTANT in the end times.
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Yes, signs and symbols–while they may not rule the world–are a very important part of everyday life in the end times.
Just because the ordinary person is not aware of these signs and symbols is no reason to discount their existence.

Good advice–if the author had stopped there. But, because this is 2013 and we’re being programmed to join a coming rebellion against the civil authorities, it doesn’t stop there but adds the following:
Without God on our side, we will not survive as a free nation. Those who bled the battlefields during the Revolutionary War humbled themselves and prayed to Almighty God, asking Him to guide and give them strength. They knew what they were up against. I know what we’re up against. We cannot win without Him on our side.”
Does God give guidance and “strength” to those in the process of overthrowing what is in His word?
Here’s a tip: if something contradicts the Word of God, it doesn’t matter how many times the author invokes the name of god, it’s still to be marked by Christians. The many articles written attempting to justify rebellion for Christians clearly contradict scriptures, notably 1 Peter 2:13-14 and Romans 13:1-7.
In addition, 2 Peter 2:9-10 is very clear–particularly for all of those who plead “It’s alright to rebel against tyranny!”
“The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.”
The word “government” can also be translated as “authority.”
The American Revolution was not just a rejection of the rule of the king of England, but a rejection of the rule of Jesus Christ. He Himself forbade us to take up the sword and commanded us to render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s. The Apostle Paul states that those who oppose government oppose God. Yet the Founding Fathers” took up the sword and opposed with powder and ball the lawful government. They founded a “Novus Ordo Seculorum” (New World Order or New Order of the Ages) which explicitly left out what Christendom had held for over 1700 years: that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings. The “founding fathers” deliberately chose to reject God as the ultimate sovereign and replace Him with the “will of the people.” America divorced Jesus Christ and chose to pursue the world’s oldest profession.–The Great Harlot:
The U.S. Constitution begins:
“We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
Was it the Blessings of God that the USA sought? No, it was the “Blessings of Liberty.” Highly unusual language, to say the least, especially in the 18th century. Especially for a country supposedly filled with Christians.
When “liberty” is a people’s highest power, that people will be totally distraught, disoriented and devastated when their highest power comes crashing to the ground.

Put your faith in Jesus Christ and secure His blessings–not the false idols of man.

Every false religion gets one or two things right.
IF they didn’t, they would not have many followers.
Some point to their “holy style of living.”
Some focus on acting out their corrupted, twisted meaning of a Bible verse.
Many point to their “good works” as proof they are righteous–even the Freemasons and Shriners.
The witches are into nature and “natural things.”
Some want points because they don’t eat meat.
Others become hermits or publicly starve themselves as proof they are spiritual.
Still others gather weekly in temples made with hands to sing, listen to wolves and feel justified.
Even the Satanists have a few tenets which “make sense” to many, such as “Do Not Hurt little children. Though we know from the many interviews conducted with the children of Satanists that that is not true.
BUT it is a great piece of public relations designed to show the world the “goodness” of those who despise the very idea.
Every single false religion has one or two points they use to sell themselves to the unwary. None have the way to life; many concentrate on the things of this world.
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

A GREAT many focus on making this world a better place.
And in the end times, the deception only grows thicker and more dark and harder to see through.
