Exalted by the World: Two Men

EXALTED BY THE WORLD #1

Two men, both exalted by the world.

Such men give themselves away in any number of ways.

One way: if a man is exalted by the world he is really an enemy of God Almighty.

Ray Comfort, What’s wrong with his gospel? – Comfort is one of those who has been raised up by the world as a “Christian.”  The question which many who delight in Comfort and side kick, Kirk Cameron (another media personality), never ask: Why would the world–which scripture tells us is the enemy of God–exalt a pair of Christians?  Why would the world praise anyone whose mission is to promote God and Jesus?

The answer to both questions: the world would not.

“know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
–James 4:4

And the world has not.

At this point, the standard answer by those who either don’t know their Bible or don’t believe it is “Oh, but God can do anything!”

He surely can.  The question is always: what does His Word say?  Does His Word say the world will provide men of the world in the last days to help spread the gospel?

No, His Word constantly reminds believers that ravenous wolves, false prophets, seducers, evil men, ministers of Satan, deceitful workers, false apostles and false teachers will dominate the end times Church scene.  Believers are constantly reminded not to be deceived.

And His Word never lies.  Which is why wolves, false prophets and false teachers have been exalted by the world to deceive pew-sitters–and have been wildly successful.  In spite of all of the warnings in God’s Word.  Instead of testing everything, holding to what is good; instead of believing the Bible, end times pew-sitters are constantly saying “Hath God said?”

Or, as it is frequently spoken “Don’t you believe God can do anything?”

EXALTED BY THE WORLD #2

There is a question that is rarely asked that should be asked of Bonhoeffer AND ANYONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE A CHRISTIAN: How can you claim to be a Christian if you do not believe the BASICS of the faith?

That question is rarely asked because too many are afraid of “upsetting” someone or “offending” someone–and that’s too bad. The world’s media will not ask such a question because the world constantly exalts those who pretend to be Christians.

The world loves pretend Christians–not the real thing.

The pews are full of people who are something other than Christians. There are probably more pagans sitting in Christian pews each week than sit in Wicca circles.  The end times will make this situation perfectly clear.

After the events of the end times, NO PRETENDER will be able to stand before God and say “You know, I really love Jesus. Really I do.”

Either one will prove that love or one will follow the great wave of humanity and stand with the dragon and the spirit of antichrist.

Today, that great wave of humanity stand with antichrist–but by putting in an hour each week on Sunday at buildings called churches, pretenders can lay claim to the benefits of Christianity–with none of its requirements.

Such are they who are exalted by the world.

“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
–John 15:18-19

IF a man is exalted by the world and acclaimed a “man of God,” the Bible says he is no such thing.

IF such a man were really a man of God, he would be HATED by the world and the world’s media, as well as those who love the things of this world.
