Irony Alert: Kasich asks Ohioans to take a stand against ObamaCare

If you are a Republican, you may have received an email from the Kasich/Taylor team bad mouthing Obamacare and distributing a petition for Ohioans to sign to stand up against the health care law. It was an odd thing to receive from an administration hell bent on implementing Obamacare in Ohio through Medicaid expansion.

Good to see that the Tea Party realizes that they have been betrayed by their political saviors.

So Governor Kasich wants Ohioans to take a stand against Obamacare. That’s rich. Ohio citizens have done more than any Ohio politician to stop Obamacare. We collected over 400,000 signatures to place the Health Care Freedom Amendment on the ballot and then proceeded to pass it with 66% of the statewide vote. We put Republicans in charge of every branch of government in Ohio and campaigned hard to get new leadership in Washington. In return, we have had to fight elected Republicans tooth and nail to keep them from advancing Obamacare through Medicaid expansion.

In 2012, this writer spoke to several Ohio Tea Party groups and warned them that there was no relief to be found in the political realm. The fix was in; they would be betrayed by the very ones they were counting on to ride to their rescue.

There is NO salvation in the things of man: politics, retirements, letter-writing campaigns, political parties are all doomed to disappoint.

The Meaning of a Martyrdom – When pretenders in the press try to write about Christianity, they ALWAYS run into major problems.

This is no exception.

The French priest, claimed in media accounts to have been killed by a crazed Muslim terrorist, was NO martyr.

A martyr (witness), by definition, is one who gives his life in testimony to Jesus Christ; i.e., the ultimate witness.

As the linked story relates, the priest died with “Satan” on his lips, not Jesus.

To many conservative Catholics, Father Hamel is an archetypal Christian martyr — killed in a sacred space by men motivated by hatred of his faith, dying with the words, “G o away, Satan!” on his lips.

Typical narrative by Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media). In a piece which claims to be about ‘martyrdom, there is not one mention of Jesus.

Christianity is a narrow path, difficult to find. Not many find it, therefore, the path is not crowded.

Because there are not many on the narrow path, many find it to be one which is lonely. Actually, one does not meet many who walk that path.

Practically all are busy walking on the broad way to destruction.

Walking the lonely path–when family and friends are otherwise directed–is one of the costs a believer was asked to count by Jesus Himself.
