“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
–James 1:27
It’s a busy world.
One simple command for believers which is often forgotten is the directive found in James 1:27 (and elsewhere in the Bible) to visit widows and orphans.
In a recent discussion, it was pointed out: “Widows have had a hard time of it because so many have not fulfilled their family duties.”
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
–Matthew 24:12
The comfort of companionship to someone who is alone is a blessing which many not be appreciated by those who do not lack such comforts.
Be obedient.
Visit (this includes comforting and counseling) widows and orphans. And, if at all possible, visit those most in need.
It’s a busy world.
HOWEVER, the world will still be busy when returning to it after spending a little time with someone who appreciates the companionship.
“Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.”
–Isaiah 1:17
Is the reader obeying this command?
Obedience becomes more important as the time grows shorter.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
—2 Corinthians 4:3
By happenstance, this writer recently read several articles about the pagan/New Age technique of “visualization” and it’s infiltration into the Christian Church.
But the churches are many times just following the popular culture. Popular culture is awash in occultism, forbidden practices, witchcraft and sorcery. Any who point out such abominations are said to be “spoil sports” or “party poopers” or accused of “You just don’t want anyone to have fun!”
Wickedness loves to masquerade as “fun!”
Wickedness also is very public and everywhere on display–especially in The World’s Most Christian Nation Ever!™ Again, many times it’s presented as “fashion,” “fad,”“Fun!” or the “coolest next big thing.”
Another media promo for the occult, but this one is a blatant appeal for witchcraft, the occult and “magic.”
Magic, mysticism and the occult are moving into the mainstream. Is it just a fad or a sign of spiritual crisis?
It’s none of the above.
It’s the end times as recorded in a book few believe: the Bible.
The Bible declares [witchcraft is booming] because of the times in which we live.
“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
—Revelation 9:21
(The word for “sorceries” is also translated as “witchcraft” in Galatians 5:20.)
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
—Galatians 5:19-21
—End Times Prophecy Headlines: February 25, 2015
The linked article is only more confirmation.
As if any more were needed.
Welcome to the season of the witch. Recently, the Brooklyn Academy of Music hosted a Witches Brew film festival, which included the acclaimed new film “The Witch.” Lately it isn’t uncommon to see glossy magazines like Nylon with headlines that start “The Witches’ Guide to…”, while new publications like Sabat, an aesthetically driven magazine that explores contemporary witchcraft, are attracting attention from readers and design snobs alike.
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”
–Deuteronomy 18:10-12
The reader can know the times in which we live by the pervasiveness of the occult.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. IF the masses STILL do not believe the government/media, THEN the other versions of events are labeled “dangerous.”
Whether it was witches colluding with Satan during colonial times, Freemasons nefariously controlling the government in the 1800s or communists coopting the State Department during the Red Scare, Americans have always been drawn to the idea that certain people or organizations are working in secret for their own benefit against the public good.
Americans KNOW that “certain people or organizations work in secret for their own benefit or against the public good.”
That’s called HUMAN NATURE.
It’s also called HISTORY.
History is largely a record of such secret dealings. Even the doctored history which is presented by the public schools is chock full of what the media would call “conspiracies.”
Before the 1960s, it was the official position of the FBI and the government that the Mafia simply did not exist and anyone who said otherwise was engaging in a scare tactic or a conspiracy theory (though that term wasn’t as heavily promoted at the time as it would be later).
Whether it was Stalin-Hitler’s secret pact before World War II began, various intelligence operations meant to mislead “the other side” or the many times government corruption has been exposed, Americans KNOW these events happened, they KNOW they happened in secret, and they KNOW they happened because these people or organizations did not have the public good (but their own greed) in mind.
Such events took place during war, before war, after war, during attempts to replace kings and rulers: history is a record of various conspiracies.
Of the five named conspiracies, the article will do next-to-nothing to persuade those who trust what they know instead of what they are told by Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media).HOWEVER, the reader should NOT expect the government/media to begin telling the truth anytime soon–especially where it concerns these supposedly non-existent conspiracies.
The great majority of outlandish conspiracy theories originate in the very same press which decries such alternate explanations. Witness the press’ fascination with the “Putin owns Trump” story (which he may). The one place this theory is being promoted EVERY DAY is the media.
IN FACT, expect MORE attacks on any alternate version of events (which doesn’t originate in the press) and MORE repetition about the dangers of so-called conspiracy theories.
As man approaches the climax of human history, the Bible speaks of a great end times conspiracy to throw off the bands of God Almighty and His Anointed, Jesus Christ.
“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
–Psalm 2:2-3
“But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.”
–Luke 19:14

—2 Corinthians 4:3
“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
–Mark 13:37
Believers are repeatedly commanded to watch.
This is particularly true of believers living in the end times.
For what are believers to watch?
The signs which precede the return of Jesus Christ. That would be the signs in the Bible, NOT the signs which are taught in the churches, in the popular antichrist media and entertainment.
“Watch.”
to those who watch, the return of Jesus shall come as no surprise. To all others who dwell upon the earth, His return will come as a thief in the night.
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”
–1Thessalonians 5:2-6
However, this simple commandment to watch goes largely unheeded–especially by those who inhabit those building we call the churches. So many people believe that they are watching IF they have outsourced their watching to wolves, seducers and ministers of Satan who masquerade as ministers of righteousness.
It was to those who slumber through their lives and trusted other to watch that Jesus addressed his second great commandment of the end times.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
–Matthew 24:4
Watching and taking heed not to be deceived go hand-in-hand.
Perhaps that’s why both are so universally ignored–which is very tragic.
No man who has a sincere desire to avoid deception will ultimately be deceived.
EVERY man who adopts a cavalier attitude toward being deceived WILL suffer both the earthly and eternal consequences of that attitude.
“Watch.”
“Let no man deceive you.”
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
–Luke 21:36
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. Two years ago, Trump met with immigration activists who told them their stories and asked for his support on immigration. “You convinced me,” Trump said as the meeting ended.
Trump’s position on nearly every issue is “flexible.” In this respect, Trump is very much like Barack Obama.
MORAL: There are no heroes among men.
Especially rich men.
Especially rich men who are running for president, a job which promises to make a wealthy man even wealthier.
“At his rally today, Donald Trump said that people labeling him as a racist is a tired argument. You know things are bad when your only response to being called a racist is, “Tell me something I don’t know.”

The idea of “President Hillary” in 2016 is thrilling for some and scary to others. But for one small group—students at Wellesley in 1968 and ‘69—it is a phenomenon they have already lived through. And while the student presidency has only so much in common with the job she’s bidding for now—welcoming new students is not exactly a state of the union address—what she did in elected office as a junior and senior in college turned out to be remarkably predictive of the kind of politician she has become.
“On Saturday, Hillary Clinton will receive her first official intelligence briefing as a candidate. Officials plan to tell Hillary about threats to U.S. cybersecurity such as Russia, China, and her.”

Check back to the 2008 election as see who was perpetually concerned about John McCain’s health.
OF COURSE, “right” and “left” are terms used by those who know these terms mean practically nothing.
“The leader of England’s Brexit movement spoke at a Trump rally and he said, “I wouldn’t vote for Clinton if you paid me.” So in other words, Hillary has lost the critical “People Who Live in England” vote.”

“You can’t shame or humiliate modern celebrities (or politicians–Ed.). What used to be called shame and humiliation is now called publicity. And forget traditional character assassination; if you say a modern celebrity is an adulterer, a pervert and a drug addict, all it means is that you’ve read his autobiography.”

THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

Wearing white coveralls and fumbling with his fingers, Brett Ryan, 35, of Toronto, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder during a brief court appearance. He was remanded in custody until 2 September. Details of the proceedings, including the names of the victims, cannot be reported due to a publication ban.
In a new study, researchers measured the grip and pinch strength of more than 200 men and found the modern man has much weaker hands than his father did three decades ago.
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

The linked article sounds like it’s making a case that driving cars is unsustainable. Does the reader find this hard to believe?
God’s Word says that the armies of the world will be using horses in the end times battle of Armageddon.
“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.”
—Revelation 19:17-18
Today, most men cannot imagine the nations of the world without cars and motorized vehicles. But there are signs that it will happen just exactly the way the Bible declares.

The U.S. Transportation Department on Friday issued a proposed rule that would require trucks and buses to be equipped with devices that would limit their speed, a move it said could save both lives and fuel.
Addiction is a popular deception: it relieves the one who claims such an addiction from responsibility for his actions.
Fables which absolve someone from their sin will NEVER lack followers.
The tales of addiction started with indulging in strong drugs (heroin and opium) and today these bedtime stories include such behaviors as sexual immorality, the binge eating of chocolate and shopping (coveting).
YES, there IS a reason for such behaviors–which are many times very self-destructive.
NO, the reason is not so-called “addiction.”
IF men do not know the true problem, it is highly unlikely they will ever find the answer.
“An urgent, collaborative public health and law enforcement response is needed to address the increasing problem of IMF and fentanyl deaths,” said the report’s authors, led by R. Matthew Gladden, PhD, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
“Pope Francis was greatly involved with and respected by Evangelicals in Argentina,” says [the author, Father Dimitri] Sala, “and there is a sense that Argentina is on the point of a new springtime for evangelism among Catholics who haven’t personally responded to the Good News and for unity among Christians. This could be an effectual door for all of Latin America.”
“UNITY” seems to be the watchword of the day. Not united in Christ, mind you.
Just “UNITY.”
Unity of and by itself means nothing. Many Christians hear of the unity of the apostles in Acts 1 and 2 and believe that unity is always a good thing. But there are other examples of unity in Acts that are not so good.
The crowd that stoned Stephen was united.
“Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.”
—Acts 7:57-58
The people in Tyre and Sidon were united in error when they approached Herod–then praised him.
“And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king’s chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king’s country. And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.“
—Acts 12:20-22
The Jews of Achaia were of united when they attacked Paul “with one accord.”
“And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat, Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.”
—Acts 18:12-13
The silversmiths and pagans were united in wrath over Paul and his companions.
“And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre. And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.”
—Acts 19:28-30
Is this unity good? Is this the unity for which Christians should strive?
Many professing evangelicals are united behind false teachers preaching a “Prosperity” gospel–or worse. Some church leaders–including the pope–are teaching that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the same god as Allah. Somewhere, someone is calling for unity every day on this matter.
Chrislam is a unity that is being forged between compromising Christians and Muslims.
Unity is often a club to beat down any who defend the Bible against the doctrines of man–as it was used by the Roman Catholic Church during the Dark Ages. Of course, in our “enlightened” times, the term “Dark Ages” is discouraged: too black-and-white; too darkness-and-light.
One of the most famous statements about unity is recorded in Matthew 12:25.
“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:”
Of course, at the time, Jesus was referring to Satan’s kingdom.
“And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?”
—Matthew 12:26
Unity isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but to appeal to unity for unity’s sake?
ONE WORLD UNITED: Unity is coming to the world soon.
Because of the times in which we live, such appeals should be approached cautiously.
According to the Bible, there is a man who will soon appear who will unify an apostate church under a false doctrine. He will then unify the apostate church with the world’s false creeds into a one-world religion.
Unity will then reign worldwide–except for a small, separate remnant Church. That remnant will be united specifically in Christ Jesus–not united for the sake of unity as the rest of the world will be.
That remnant will not be a part of the worldwide unity–and, the Bible says, that remnant will suffer great persecution because of their non-unity with the world.
Unfortunately, that’s the type of unity for which many American Christians have no appetite.
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
—Ephesians 4:13-16
I spoke with Jodi Houge, the pastor of Humble Walk Lutheran church in Saint Paul, Minnesota, about what it is like being a female clergy member, how American churches are adjusting to the decline in religious participation, and how she’s connected with her community by holding services at a coffee shop.
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
