Further, IF one of the two wins, it’s hard to see how either one presides over anything less than the continued spiraling down of the American experiment.

FAKE UNIONS AND FOOD STAMPS
Federal Judge rules that Food Stamp Recipients can Unionize – The initial reactions will likely be the usual ones. However, readers will quickly see this as just another sham from the federal government.
This is another in the line of “self-esteem” measures that public schools have convinced people is “what makes the world go round.” Sadly, there are people who believe this to be true. That because a federal panel of judges have ruled in this way, it must be factual.
What is true is that food stamp recipients DO have a right to unionize.
As do circus clowns, gang members, pregnant teenagers and those who hold up convenience stores.
Almost everyone has the RIGHT to unionize. The question is: does that mean anything in the real world–other than a boost to the ego and an inflation of self-importance to the food stamp recipients?
For a union-company relationship to work, both sides have to have something that the other side wants.
IN THEORY: In traditional union-company arrangements, the company controls the means of production, the union controls the skilled labor. They both bargain in order to come to an agreement to jointly produce a product. This arrangement benefits both. It has to benefit both in order to work.
In a food stamp recipients-federal government relationship, the federal government offers benefits and food coupons. But what does the food stamps recipients offer–beyond an appetite for free stuff? In short, there is an unending supply of people who want free stuff. Equally ridiculous–but more realistic–would be a union of lottery ticket buyers.
A union of food stamp recipients controls nothing, other than a small portion of a pool which includes potentially everyone on the planet.
Therefore, in any union-company relationship, such a union would offer nothing and would control nothing. BUT, if the federal government PRETENDED that such a union had power, it would have power. This is the situation the USA is in today concerning the “power” of the United Nations. The United Nations has no real power over the federal government of the USA. BUT the U.S. federal government PRETENDS that the UN has power over the USA, so it really is the situation.
But this situation happens, not because of any real-world event; it happens because our leaders PRETEND it is so. They make it happen.
IF the political cartel in The DC (Den of Corruption) PRETEND that food stamp recipients have real power, then those recipients will exercise real power. Not because of any real-life situation, but because the DC Cartel PRETENDS it is so.
THIS IS ALSO THE SITUATION WE FIND OURSELVES IN as Americans at this particular time in history. There are groups convinced that “signing petitions” is something other than a distracting, time-wasting past time in 2013. It is not. The DC Cartel no longer pretends it is the “will of the governed” which rules the USA. Signing petitions only worked as long as this pretense was maintained.
In 2013 America, almost all pretense of “We the People” have been dropped. Soon, ALL pretending will cease: the “Will of the People” means nothing to those in power in The DC. Petitions mean nothing because those signing the petitions have nothing to offer other than their wants and desires–which are unimportant to those in power in The DC.
Illusions about the “power of the ballot box” will be shattered. Americans even today should be suspicious because the DC Cartel show no fear of the “power of the ballot box.”
Why should they? Their agenda moves ever onward through the deceptions that Americans believe.
This should be readily apparent to anyone who has paid the least attention to what has taken place in our country over the last 10-15 years.

HOWEVER, God’s Word is clear: we are not to put God to the test [“tempt God“].
Testing God comes from unbelief and walking by sight can never be rewarded.

The faithless tempting of God (which is behind the flesh-pleasing desire to see “miracles, signs and lying wonders“) and operating in faith will be a key choice of the end times.
The world will o0oh and ahhh over the man of sin’s satanic signs and lying wonders.
And so, the world will be deceived.
The believer will demonstrate faith in God’s Word, knowing the source of end times signs and wonders.
And so, the believer will be spared perdition.

WHY are so many Christians biblically illiterate? – The churches have worked hard for years to produce a cadre of church folk almost utterly ignorant of the Bible.
Can California clean up our retirement mess? – The government/media keep repeating the lie that millions of Americans have not provided for their retirements.
Technically, this is true IF one only counts private retirement accounts.
HOWEVER, the forced deductions of Social Security are treated as if they don’t count.
They do count.
American workers have given up purchasing power and potential private savings by paying the 6.2% Social Security tax.
Medicare taxes adds to this burden.
The American worker further is burdened by his employer paying an additional 7.65% in FICA taxes. That’s another 7.65% that the employer does not have available for use in other ways which might actually benefit the employee.
Just because Congress has always speedily wasted and stolen this money doesn’t mean the effects of its enforced servitude are not felt by the workers themselves. Workers and their companies are FORCED to send over 15% of the worker’s earnings each and every paycheck to Washington DC. (The self-employed are responsible for paying 15.3% total).
In return, workers are given access to a busted system while regularly being browbeaten by the government/media for not providing for their retirement.
The linked article pretends that by the various states forcing workers to participate in additional Ponzi schemes at the local level, retirement problems will be solved.
They will not be.
The states will only be forcing their workers into contributing to the states’ local slush funds for the state cartels to steal and waste.
The workers, as usual, will receive nothing of value (other than pretty words and more empty promises) for more of their paychecks being gutted by government.
And then, the government/media will browbeat the workers and their companies because their paychecks no longer cover the worker’s basic needs.
SMILING JOEL THE WOLF-BOY
Does Joel Osteen attack the Apostles? – It appears that Osteen didn’t rebuke the apostles in so many words.
He does what Joel Osteen has always done: Smile, dilute the word of God, smile some more, assure everyone that God loves you and your sin, dodges any hard questions and then proceeds to preach another gospel–all the while smiling.
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.“

No wonder Joel Osteen has a problem with Paul’s straightforward teachings. There’s no wiggle room there for any of the junk that Osteen is famous for.
But Joel Osteen gets his philosophy honestly. His father, John Osteen. started Christians down the slippery slope on which his son, Joel, has sprayed lubricating oil. This writer has heard church dwellers speak of a disparity between the two Osteens and what they preached.
This only demonstrates a lack of discernment: either willful or ignorantly.
The only disparity in what the two preached was a matter of degrees.
The elder Osteen preached some unusual doctrine–but he lived in an era that made it more important to be clever and not outright about such preaching.
How many know that John Osteen was voted out of his congregation in 1958 over such teachings? It was due to this decision by the Southern Baptists, that he left the Baptists and started the independent Lakewood church where his son, Joel, reigns today.

IF John Osteen was a wolf, his son Joel might be said to be a wolf-boy.
The main problem with Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Joyce Meyers, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn and any number of preacher who dominate the “christian TV” airwaves is that they are reaching the logical endgame of what they have preached for years.
They are now out front and in your face about what they previously were coy and shy about: inventing and subverting God’s Word.
One is tempted to believe that IF ONLY Osteen, Hinn, and the rest of the Word of Faith gang had only kept their heresies a little quieter–a little easier to swallow, as they did in the beginning–they would still be AOK with most church folk in America.
There would be no outcry.
Again, one is tempted to conclude that the outcry is because they are impossible to overlook. Their words now HAVE to be addressed.
Who will address these men.
The fake “discernment ministries”?
Most church-goers will just shrug and go back to worshiping whatever idol they have sacrificed their time to today.
Some will smile and agree with the men and women on TV.
Joel Osteen and the other wolves are a wonderful illustration of where compromise leads the pagan churches and why it is important to call it out immediately.
Like cancer, the longer it is allowed to grow, the worse are the results to the Body.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
