Here’s a few questions for Americans who are fired up for the USA to march off to a Middle Eastern war:
- The USA has been at war with the Taliban for nearly 13 years and hasn’t defeated them. The USA has been at war with various boogeymen in Iraq for about 11 years. Why would ISIS be any different?
- There are plenty of retired generals who are popping up on Fox, MSNBC and other Corporate Media outposts moaning and whining and complaining about Obama and 100 other reasons why the US military can’t defeat a bunch of so-called cave dwellers. Why do NONE of these armchair warrirors blame the US military’s enthusiastic embrace of homosexuals, transgendered, women and other politically correct causes?
- These same generals have sold Congress and the US public on the notion that war is a little more than a glorified video game. That some techie sitting in a control room somewhere bombing and shooting people seen on a video monitor is what the NEW WAR is really all about. Why do these architects of war not get any blame when their vision of the military fails to win wars after 13 years?
- Other than swapping a jungle for desert, how is Iraq and Afghanistan any different from Vietnam?
- Mr. “Miss-Me-Yet?” Bush and Mr. “Don’t-Ask-Me” Obama are the very public front men for 21st century American warfare. Why is the “pro-Obama” media concentrating on one but not the other?
