Today is the autumnal equinox.

Many of the churches also get in on the “fun” by celebrating a “fall festival.”

Many in the churches find paganism hard to resist–particularly when those pretending to be Christians have no such opportunities for autumn celebration.

The open celebration of once-hidden pagan holidays helps to remind those who watch the times in which we live.

In the times in which we live, the only gospels heard in the churches are the accursed other gospels of those who appear as “ministers of righteousness.”

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. herefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

The observations – A list of 15 observations about Christianity that manages to leave out the gospel.

This is normal for those who claim to speak for Christianity today: a lot of deceptive touchy-feely gobbledygook that sounds really good but which evades the center of true Christianity.

Maybe it is only a coincidence that this is what the end times churches are now about?

A sample:

We are forgiven in Christ, but we must still come to terms with our life’s deeds that we might truly grow as spiritual beings. During the Judgment, we will stand in the presence of the Lord Jesus Who loves us, and through His grace, we will learn the meaning of our life experiences; why things happened as they did. And we will truly come to understand.

The site claims it is devoted to two things:

Walking with God through Jesus Christ our Lord

Watching the signs of the times “for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come”

A third might truthfully be added:

Confusing anyone who get near the site about biblical salvation through Jesus Christ.

Another day, another blah-blah-blah-no-Jesus accursed gospel preached in the churches.

Just another sign of the times in which we live.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

THE TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

How Skittles became a bizarre metaphor for immigration – One guess: who does the reader believe is paying for this ‘poisoned Skittles’ product placement campaign disguised as a news story and commentary?

HINT: All the “news” stories prominently feature pictures of the candy displayed in bowls or bags of the product.

Compromise in the buildings which go by the name of “the churches” is the name of the game in 2013.

Especially in America, whose church-goers are experts in compromise with the world. The world is perhaps nowhere as powerful as in America and American tares have ingeniously thought up any number of ways to make peace with it.

Nowhere is this more evident than in church folk’s dealings with America’s cultural capital, Hollywood.

Where did Hollywood get its name?

For years, American church people have watched the movies, DVDs, videos and other programming from the sewer pipe that is Hollywood and quieted their consciences with soothing words like, “It’s not so bad.”

Every time church folk compromise, in essence, they capitulate. By repeatedly compromising, they only allowed evil a little space to get stronger.

Pew-sitters who compromise with the world hundreds of ways each day when times are good assure themselves that they will stand up for what is right when times get tough.

Is this realistic?

Many church-dwellers have compromised because they only wanted to be left alone in peace.

Evil will never allow that situation. The Bible likens sin to “leaven” because it spreads so quickly and thoroughly through a body.

There is much more to say on compromise, but time is short.

In the meantime, take a look around: compromise is almost everywhere that evil has not yet completely triumphed.

Once sin completely triumphs in a place, there is no more compromise.

There is no longer any need for it.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
