Wickedness always seeks compromise when it is weaker; it never wants compromise once it gains the upper hand. In the end times, the churches have taken the lead in the compromise with evil. However, because of the growing unbelief, public wickedness and hedonism, those days may already be at an end.

Compromise in the buildings which go by the name of “the churches” is the name of the game in 2013.
Especially in America, whose church-goers are experts in compromise with the world. The world is perhaps nowhere as powerful as in America and American tares have ingeniously thought up any number of ways to make peace with it.

Nowhere is this more evident than in church folk’s dealings with America’s cultural capital, Hollywood.

For years, American church people have watched the movies, DVDs, videos and other programming from the sewer pipe that is Hollywood and quieted their consciences with soothing words like, “It’s not so bad” or “It’s just good, clean fun!”
Every time church folk compromise, in essence they capitulate. By repeatedly compromising, they only allowed evil more time to get stronger.
Look around: see all the public depravity?
Such wickedness would have have been possible without a solid foundation of compromise.
Pew-sitters who compromise with the world hundreds of ways each day when times are good assure themselves that they will stand up for what is right when times get tough.
Is this realistic?
Many church-dwellers have compromised because they only wanted to be left alone in peace.
Evil will never allow those who compromise to be left alone.
The Bible likens sin to “leaven” because it spreads so quickly and thoroughly through a body.
“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.”
–Galatians 5:9
There is much more to say on compromise, but time is short.
In the meantime, take a look around: compromise is almost everywhere that evil has not yet completely triumphed.
Once sin completely triumphs in a place, there is NO MORE compromise.
There is no longer any need for it.
