Unbelief in the Churches: Living a Destructive End Times Lie

UNBELIEF: Unbelief in the End Times
“Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.”
–Hebrews 3:12

The overwhelming problem of the times in which we live is unbelief, especially unbelief in God’s Word and Jesus Christ.

This unbelief is prevalent is centered (in the main) in two groups

  1. unbelief by those who sincerely do not believe
  2. unbelief by those who pretend to believe

Those who learn unbelief but who pretend to believe are living a lie. This leads to stress, unhappiness and other judgments from God, who knows the true condition of each person’s heart.

Living this lie is therefore, very destructive to those who engage in the practice. However, many of those who suffer from such afflictions have been distracted by money and the things of this world. Perhaps that’s why so many choose to concentrate on their “material blessings” rather than the chaos and disorder which afflicts every other part of their lives.

This second group is particularly strong in the churches.

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”
–1Timothy 4:1

1Timothy 4:1 is often quoted, but its real import may be this: it declares that “in the latter time some shall depart from the faith,” but it does NOT say those who depart from the faith will depart from their church buildings.

Because of widespread unbelief in the churches, those in the pews have little or no faith. Because they have no faith, they have developed a hunger for miracles, signs and lying wonders–as the Bible declares.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders”
–2Thessalonians 2:9

Because faith is the logical extension of belief, the churches are filled with those who have little or no faith.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight”

Based on personal observations, conversations and research, this overwhelming unbelief is the result of a longstanding (generational) program of intentional instruction in the homes of those who hate God Almighty.

Because so many in the churches live a lie mired in unbelief,  anti-biblical nonsense is excused and sanctioned as “that’s just your interpretation.”

Because so many in the churches come from these unbelieving families, the churches have no real foundations. Rooted in unbelief instead of belief, the churches sway to-and-fro, appearing to follow the winds of fashion, heresy and compromise with the world and wickedness.

In reality, the churches are so unstable because they have are not rooted in the Word of God.

Which is a shame because, on the surface, many of those in the churches appear to be the friendly, engaging sort.

OF COURSE, on the surface, many of those in the churches appear to be believers.

There are a number of problems arising and steadily worsening in the end times.

These problems all spring from unbelief, the biggest problem in the times in which we now live.

“Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”
–Titus 1:15

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
2 Corinthians 4:3
